Kinjo Express Macleod

Kinjo an absolute favourite destination of mine when I am craving some amazing and flavourful Japanese Cuisine but this location of Kinjo has something extra - it’s PEOPLE … in my many years of exploring restaurants and food across the different countries I have never come across such an amazing hospitality and warmth in such a busy, packed & fast paced restaurant environment.

Each and every staff member of this location were super pleasant to interact with and made sure all their guests were well taken care of.

This post is incomplete without a biggggg shout out to our server - Mr. Vincent, who not only gave us amazing service but took such amazing care of our needs and as we had a vegetarian member (my mother) amongst us so he made sure that there was special care and attention given to that my mom’s order and ensure excellent service at all times to all of us even though it was a super busy afternoon at the restaurant.

This young man surely has an amazing future ahead of himself and I personally wish him all the very best for his life ahead and with regard to kinjo we are coming back for sure and many more times ….

Kinjo is hands down one of the best sushi spots in Calgary! The food is always fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The variety is amazing — from sushi rolls to sashimi to hot dishes, there’s something for everyone. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the dining experience even better.

They also love adding little touches, like complimentary treats and fun surprises, that make you feel truly valued as a guest. Whether you’re craving sushi with friends or planning a family dinner, Kinjo is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again!

I had a fantastic experience at Kinjo Express on Macleod Trail! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out impressively fast — perfect for a quick lunch or dinner without compromising on quality. The staff had such a positive and welcoming attitude, which really made the visit even more enjoyable.

A special shout-out to Jenvie, our waitress — she was absolutely wonderful! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, she made sure we had everything we needed and brought such a warm energy to the table. It’s always a pleasure to be served by someone who clearly cares about the customer experience.

Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for great food and excellent service!

Me and my friends stopped by after five-pin bowling last Thursday and it was perfect! They even had a picture book of sushi for us noobs. It was very relaxed, especially with the boats floating by with random sushi items on them! We all had a great time joking around with the staff and each other. ?Would definitely go again!

Used to eat here once a week when I lived in Calgary. Now that I have moved away I go here every time I visit calgary!!! Please, Please, Please open a restaurant in Edmonton!!!!!!!!!!

I love the sushi and the prices are more than reasonable.

I haven't had any bad issues with their Sushi. It tastes amazing. Waaaayyyy better then most places I've gone too. Thank you for making the best sushi !

Decent takeout alternative to Safeway/Superstore sushi. Better variety of items!
