Sushi was great. I love the little boats with their specials being absolutely delicious. Will be back when ever I'm craving sushi!

The greeting was friendly, but the service was abysmal. We were offered water to start, but they didn’t come back to ask if we wanted to order drinks. There was no explanation on how the ordering worked, and each plate drop off was silent and so fast that we couldn’t ask for a drink. Plates were not collected. Nearby we could hear a customer get snapped at by staff for politely asking where they go to pay. We then waited forever to have that same question answered, nobody came to check on us. We went to the front on our own to pay and we were not asked how we liked it or given any interaction other than to ask how we are paying. The food was just okay.. Overall it was not worth the money we paid.

Food was good but lacked variety in the boats. My salad was warm and they handled it well. Was very satisfied with the service

We had never been to this particular Kinjo before, and decided to pop in... It was super busy, so I figured it was a popular place. We ordered a few dishes of the special, dynamite rolls, they look like they had been sitting for a long time! The cooked shrimp on the inside should be nice and crispy but the batter was super mushy.
I ordered some kind of ginger chicken, and it was quite the opposite...it was so hard that I couldn't even bite into it.
We had to eventually stop a waiter, after being done for quite some time, to get our bill.
Everything else tasted really good! The really positive part was that the manager was incredibly lovely and the waiter, when he was there, was also very lovely.

Tried to have lunch here, the person I was with required an outlet because of an oxygen machine. We have been to this location many times without issue , we’ve been placed in our usual table near the back with a “wet floor” sign over any cords exposed. Today the manager Anne turned us away claiming it was a safety issue. So disappointed.

Pretty disappointed with this location. We normally go to the mahogany location and the atmosphere and overall cleanliness of the place is far superior than this location.

We walked in and the lady at the front seemed super stressed out and she needed more help. The manager seemed to be annoyed with her and snappy when she was just trying to get through a rush( which is not a fault on the lady at the front I get it when it gets busy it can be stressful)

we then got seated and my son hurt his hand on the bench because there was a piece of what I am assuming is a broken chopstick in the chair. He started to cry because his hand was hurting and he had a sliver from it and the server seemed annoyed by it. I asked for some ice to help and got brushed off. Not to mention throughout the dinner there were multiple fruit flys flying around.

At the end it also seems as we were rushed out and it was overall just a bad experience. I definitely will be sticking with the mahogany location from now on.

Oof. Our go-to is the Kinjo in Westhills, and we were expecting a similar experience at this location since it’s still Kinjo. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The space felt very cramped with minimal seating, and the manager came across as unkind and impatient with her learning staff.

We were also told they don’t serve ramen or have a kids’ menu like the other locations because this is the “original store.” I’m not sure what that has to do with anything, as you’d expect consistency across all Kinjo restaurants if they share the same name.

Overall, the vibe and service here were off, so we decided to leave.

This place has no Raman or fried chicken. Salmon roll made me gag. Terrible place but the service was good.
Not returning again.

Update on the review: I got food poisoning from the sushi so no, I won't be returning.
