Food is always great. Service was quick and wait time was minimal. But table was not cleaned to my preference and felt sticky. They should do better cleaning of tables. Good value for price.

I was very pleased with the service that I received from Hazel. She was very friendly and attentive; and ensured all my food came out in a timely manner. Even going to the kitchen to check on my food multiple times for me without me even asking. Truly impressive.
Glad the kitchen staff made some adjustments from prior complaints about the ramen soup not being hot enough.
I enjoy coming here for a meal. And this time it was much better than usual all because of Hazel's attention to detail

I went to Kinjo recently, and let me just say this:
the food was great, but Dylan and Bilal are the real reason this place hits different.
From the second I sat down, Dylan came through with the kind of service that makes you feel like a VIP regular even if it’s your first time. Dude reads the table like a mind-reader. Before I even realized I wanted more ginger or soy sauce, Dylan was already there, placing it down like some sushi superhero.
And then there’s Bilal—the man is a legend. Friendly, fast, and actually seems like he enjoys helping people (rare in this economy). He checked on us the perfect amount: not too much, not too little. And every recommendation he gave? Certified bangers. The guy knows the menu like it’s his autobiography.
Food-wise, Kinjo never misses:
Fresh sushi ✔️
Hot dishes coming out fast ✔️
Portions that make you rethink your life decisions ✔️
Prices that don’t make your wallet cry ✔️
But honestly, Dylan and Bilal took the whole experience from 8/10 to a clean 12/10.
Friendly, quick, respectful, and just genuinely good people. If every restaurant had servers like them, dining out would be elite every single time.
Next time you go to Kinjo, trust me:
Ask for Dylan and Bilal.
They’ll take care of you better than your own friends do.
I’m bias I love kinjo, it’s great value and portions and the overall vibe is always enjoyable. Love hitting this place up for after events and stuff like that. Never had a problem with any of the Kinjos I’ve been.

Entering Kinjo was amazing it was nice and lively right when you step into the building, along with the christmas decorations makes the building more fascinating to look at.
Employees kept everything friendly especially during a busy hour, specifically the girl with the christmas tree hat that served me at takeout. She kept the service friendly and was extremely patient with my request. It was awesome sauce.

Kinjo District in Calgary never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, fast, and exactly what you want when you’re craving sushi done right. What really sets this location apart, though, is the service. Terrance Choy, the manager, runs the place with real care and attention. He’s personable, professional, and genuinely committed to making sure every guest has a great experience. You can feel the difference in how smoothly everything runs.
If you want good food, good vibes, and standout service, this is the Kinjo to go to. Highly recommend.
