Kinjo Sushi & Grill North Hill

Absolutely amazing experience at Kinjo on 16th! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi rolls were a perfect balance of texture and taste, especially the tempura shrimp roll with mango sauce—sweet, savory, and crunchy in all the right ways. The seared scallops were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, perfectly seasoned, and topped with creamy sauce. The beef stir-fry with veggies was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of spice.

Service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. The portions were generous, and the variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend for sushi lovers and anyone craving high-quality Japanese cuisine! Can’t wait to come back.

Ive been to other kinjo locations, food is okay as usual but the service is was bad in this location(except for Elle, she was the only one that talked to us).
It took a while for them to sit us, and I don’t think it was rush hour.
I wouldn’t recommend this location if you want to just relax, eat and enjoy your food.

Rabiaa was wonderful! Such a pleasing personality and full of energy! Acts with a lot of sense of urgency. Keep it up!

I went sometimes at kinjo in signal hill calgary which i loved equaly to this Kinjo north hill.

Our favourite sushi restaurant place in Calgary. Great selection of good food and reasonably priced. This used to be a different restaurant (breakfast place) and they redesigned the space to make it very attractive. Great vibe.

This place needs to train their staffs . Even you are kind to them. They will keep on ignoring you. We’ve asked for 4 different staffs. They will only keep on saying “okay”. But never tried to come back. So if you want to have a better service and enjoy your meal. Try to look for other kinjo branch instead. :)
We left the establishment not satisfied because of their kind of service.

First time visiting this location and we had an excellent experience. Our server, Jake, was personable, easygoing, and knowledgeable about the menu. He helped me choose appropriate vegan options and confirmed with the chef about my dietary needs. I had a great time and will definitely be returning. Hoping that Jake is my server next time!

The service at this location has really gone downhill. I'm not sure who is managing the restaurant now but when we came today the host rudely greeted us by saying "How many for the table" after we waited 5 minutes just to be noticed. Service needs to be coached on customer service or more staff. Also I was not impressed by the number of fat fruit flies in this building. It's disgusting to have to swat flies constantly away from your food
