Small restaurant but nice decor. The food was not bad, however, the menu items available for the AYCE is not as extensive as other AYCE sushi restaurants in Calgary. I would have preferred a more flavourful tataki sauce personally, as that is what I've been accustomed to, but the salmon slices for the tataki are much thicker than expected! It was not busy when we went, there was 3 other tables in the small restaurant during the duration of our dining, so I was hoping that the service/servers would be more attentive but they were still friendly and accommodating. Also, the Birthday Promo is not the same as advertised, it is no longer for a party of 4 or more, it is now a Party of 6 Adults or more. Their official website is difficult to get into from the Google Search, the website leads to a completely different website and Instagram as well or it comes up with results from a restaurant with a similar name in the Toronto, Ontario area. It was a decent and ok experience for me.

This sushi spot was a major letdown 😐. I've never had such a disappointing sushi experience in my life.
We were really disappointed with our dining experience. The salmon sashimi had an unpleasant taste, and the rolls we ordered were topped with sweet chilli sauce instead of spicy mayo. To make matters worse, some of our orders were missing, and the servers seemed to be discussing our food choices in a way that made us uncomfortable. We were also concerned about the sanitation practices, particularly with the green tea ice cream being stored on the floor and served from an uncovered container.
I'm extremely disappointed that we had to pay for such a terrible meal.
We had a single serving of disappointment at this establishment, and it left a bad taste. The male server's unprofessional demeanor made the experience feel like a waste of time and money. Needless to say, we won't be back for seconds.

We’ve been going to Kiro quite often for a handful of years already. Always end up there with friends and when family visits from out of town. Customer service is friendly, and speedy. The food taste has kept us coming back consistently (plus ice cream!).
