Nice sushi spot for all you can eat. The rolls are really good and there's a variety of rolls to choose from. I find the sashimi is sliced thicker, where each piece is 2-3x the size of other restaurants. I personally prefer smaller slices, but it's still good quality fish. The non-sushi items are good too. Teriyaki items are nicely flavoured, although I find every few pieces of chicken I am spitting out some cartilage or not very chewable pieces. The takoyaki and scallops I found to be quite fishy. The tempura is really good and crispy and the sweet chili shrimp tempura is delicious. Overall a very good spot, with just a few notes from me. service is good and ordering with the QR code is nice. I just wish I could review exactly what I ordered to make sure I got everything before putting another order in
I'm sure the food is great most days but shortly after I had lunch with a friend here I became sick and everything in the trash saw what I had for lunch.
Visited for the first time on Friday evening, we didn't have a reso so we anticipated waiting for a bit which we did and that was fine. However, it is a bit squishy if you are having to wait for a table so it got a bit awkward when people entered and exited through the doorway. Once we were sat we had our drink orders taken by one employee, and shortly after another employee came over asking what we wanted for drinks to which we advised it was already handled. We did the AYCE and it was great, we didn't wait long for anything we ordered. For the most part the sushi is good, was it the best sushi? No. There are a few items on the menu which I believe other places do better but that is my personal preference and no fault of the restaurant. But overall it was fresh and the service was excellent. I also think 37.99 for an adult AYCE menu is very reasonable for dinner. The mango ice cream was a nice way to end the meal.

We decided to try something different from our usual sushi restaurant. That was a mistake. The rolls all fell apart and the taste of the tuna was horrible. Even the edamame was not very very good.

Amazing Party Platter from KIRO Sushi!
I recently ordered from KIRO Sushi for a family birthday party, and they made an incredible party platter that looked stunning as shown in the photo below and tasted just as great! The freshness of the fish and ingredients was top-notch, and every bite was perfect. All the guests were curious about where we ordered the food from because they were so impressed. If you're in the Calgary SE area and looking for delicious sushi or Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend KIRO Sushi!

My husband and I ordered $85 worth of sushi rolls last night October 17, I picked it up right away and the containers did not sit waiting. I got home within 10 minutes and the sushi was falling apart completely, and the unagi rolls were soggy and the bc rolls were so salty we couldn’t even eat them. I would say 80% of the sushi was falling apart and couldn’t even pick it up without it all falling out. My husband called the resturant today and an employee called the owner and the owner WOULD NOT do anything to compensate for this…he told my husband we should have taken photos and a bunch of excuses.. just said nope we won’t do anything, we have been there multiple times and this moment ruined it. We won’t be going back at all. Very disappointing…

For all you can eat , they give poor quality sushi. It’s not the same as the regular menu items. Also way smaller. Very dishonest.
