I was in the mood for something to warm me up and Kiwa's gamjatang really hit the spot. I was impressed by how neatly everything was packaged for take out, as well as the larger than expected portions. The stew itself was flavorful and not too spicy, goes so well with rice. The sides were all well-seasoned and tasty. It was nice they even had japchae as a side dish!
I will definitely be returning to try their other dishes.

Easily tell they changed the owner already. How they put the take out food, also the way they make the food. After couple years, everything changed.

best customer service experience ever, loved the vibe and everything there, and they have the most delicious kimchi stew. 10/10❤️
I loved the food with the previous owners but since new ownership, I am super impressed with the amazing service and very happy with the food. I ordered the stone bowl and it is one of the best I have had in a long time. My pet peeve is restaurants being cheap and serving all rice, but the bibimbap stone bowl had a decent amount of meat and veggie. The side dishes were super delicious, amazing kimchi! The service is 10x better than the previous owner.

Kiwa is currently under new ownership and our group of 9 had excellent service. Tasty tea and excellent starters with one of the best kimchi recipes I have ever eaten, my sister-in-law agreed. The deep fried dumplings had a nice thin skin and a very flavorful filling. As a main I shared my Spicy Jaeyuk with my wife who ordered the Stone Bibimbap. Both dishes were well seasoned, very tasty and had the right amount of spice with generous amounts of meat. Moreover, the Bibimbap had an excellent balance of rice, veg and beef. We will be back :) Note: Review completed by an ethnic individual with a White name.

As a white dude that has never eaten Korean food, this place was unreal. I've never tasted food like it before. So good! Had the Bulgogi, the fish pancake and the rice cakes in the spicy red sauce - all were great. Definitely recommend.

Food came fast, was delicious and authentic. Also the guy who served us was attentive, came to check up on us during our meal unlike in other Asian restaurants. He also offer our kid some rice crackers, which is a very kind gesture.

We have been to this restaurant years. It used to be my fav Korean restaurant in the city. We had the food today and everything tasted not the same anymore. The rice is over cooked. They all stick together. The sides have no flavour. My fav dish, kimchi stew, doesn’t taste great anymore. I believe they change the recipe after they change the owner. It goes downhill so fast. If the new owner sees this, plz bring the good food back.
