I came here for a family dinner. No one was at the restaurant when I placed my order. The server brought us the wrong food initially and she totally forgot about my cheese katsu.
Initial food came out. Rice cakes were overcooked. Bulgogi overcooked.
Almost 1 hour to get my katsu and still waiting as of this writing.
Banchan serving is pitiful also.

Food taste good but serving is very small for the price. Jajangmyeon cost almost 15 but finished it in 5 bites. The rice of the bulgogi is very little, but very pricy , almost 19. The side dish also doesn't taste good and also in small portions. Anyway, The jjampong is nice

First time visiting Kokoro Katsu and we were super impressed! We ordered the chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki – both were delicious and very filling. The katsu was perfectly crispy and the teriyaki had so much flavor. Loved the little side dishes too, especially the kimchi and corn. The presentation was great, and the service was genuinely kind and attentive. Definitely coming back again! :)

I stopped in once or twice and got so hooked that I’ve become a near-weekly regular. The place hides in a quiet corner of the Braeside strip mall—back when I first found it I nearly walked past the sign, but now the moment I push open the door and catch that deep-fried aroma my whole mood relaxes. Bite into the pork katsu after dunking it in the sweet-savory sauce and the crackle of the panko against the roof of your mouth meets the burst of juicy meat underneath; every bit of stress just snaps away. The cheese katsu oozes the instant the knife goes in, so I end up wiping every last drop of sauce with my fingers, and whatever crumbs are left get a quick dip in the spicy tteokbokki broth for one more burst of heat. Seating’s limited, so even a whisper of hype packs the place, and I’ve honestly hesitated to write anything because I don’t want it becoming too famous. Still, food this good and people this kind deserve to be known—just please, let’s hope the line never gets so long that I can’t get in.
