Got to finally eat at this restaurant after seeing it around for most my life, took my partner there for our anniversary and I have to say we had a great time there, atmosphere reminded me of family dinners with all my cousins, aunts and uncles. Food was delicious and service was nothing short of great. The owner Maurizio was out there working with all his employees and came over to greet us and congratulate us on our anniversary which was also nice and welcomed. If you haven’t been here definitely check it out you won’t be disappointed.

First time at this restaurant and I won’t be back. Although the food was very good, the service was horrible. Waited 1.25 hours for appetizers, waitress rarely came over the table to check on us. There are much better choices in the city for Italian so avoid this place.

I went to the restaurant yesterday for my birthday. The restaurant seemed to be in total chaos. Super unorganized. Everything took forever to show up. Our appetizers showed up first then finally our bottle of wine. My Marsala was wayyyyy too sweet. It was like they spilled the sugar. But how would they know when the waitress asked how the meal was when I was almost done. I ate it because I was super hungry. My friend made reference several times about the birthday and the waitress made almost no comments back. Super disappointing. I asked to specifically go to this restaurant but I was pretty disappointed with the changes in the service levels and some of the food changes. It might be awhile for a return and recommendation to others.
We had such a great experience here. The calamari was so good it disappeared before we even thought of taking a picture, and they served it with a fresh, delicious bruschetta that set the tone for the night.
For mains, we tried the trio platter pasta, penne, and meatballs and while my photo doesn’t do it justice, the food was absolutely fantastic. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The atmosphere is warm, the service is friendly, and the food is the kind that makes you want to linger just a little longer.
Bonus story: on the way out, we even bumped into Tom Selleck who told me to “have a good day.” I had no idea who he was until my much cooler (and way more Hollywood-savvy) girlfriend pointed it out.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic Sicilian food in Calgary.

Not to be dramatic but I just got back from Italy and La Brezza still comes out on top in terms of pasta and vibes. Absolutely love it here. You get treated like family and are spoiled with the best service and food.
