A whole bunch of us (>12) went there for dinner on a Wednesday evening and we were pleasantly surprised. Food quality was good and price was very reasonable.
We also like the fact that instead of us all sitting in a big long table, we were able to sit at separate tables, which made it easy to visit and talk to others! As opposed to just the people that sit next to you!

Wonderful Saturday evening at La Cantina. Food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Bocci ball after dinner was fun too. Having multiple TVs to watch the Stamps game was a real bonus! We'll definitely be back and we've told our friends about this wonderful spot for great Italian food!

We picked it for a birthday dinner date due to hearing it had awesome lasagna. Turns out they literally changed the recipe that week! The new recipe was pretty decent, but I don't know what the last one was like for comparison! The service was fantastic, our biggest issue is that their website described it as “intimate”. Definitely not the right word as they have bocce lanes right beside it and there were 30 women playing with high noise volumes. We still had a great time but definitely not a romantic experience!

If you're looking for real Italian pasta this is the place to go. The food was absolutely perfect and super delicious. The prices are fair and you get a lot of calamari as the appetizer so make sure to share! The service was fantastic and the server was very attentive and accommodating. The only thing I would mention is the space feels odd with having it open to some type of games room on the other side. Maybe some windows that are obscured in some way with curtains. I'm not sure. I'm not a designer lol.
I recently visited La Cantina in Calgary, drawn in by the buzz of locals praising its vibrant menu and cozy atmosphere… From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance promised an experience that goes beyond the plate… I started my meal with a lineup of appetizers that were nothing short of scrumptious… Each bite was a perfect teaser, so flavorful and enticing that I found myself tempted to forgo the rest of the menu and just indulge in more starters… But I stayed focused and ordered my all-time favorite: the Chicken Parmesan… The Chicken Parmesan was cooked to perfection, the chicken itself was juicy and tender, while the blend of cheese and sauce struck an ideal balance, creating a dish that was rich without being overpowering… Alongside it, the Caesar Salad was a standout with its crisp, fresh lettuce, a generous helping of shaved Parmesan, and just the right amount of croutons… A squeeze from a large, fresh lemon brought it all together beautifully… I was so immersed in the flavors and overall experience that I could barely keep up with the conversation at the table… Every element of the meal left me impressed and delighted… La Cantina didn’t just serve food, it offered a memorable experience…. I’ll absolutely be returning to enjoy it all over again!!
