Dining at this fine restaurant was an unforgettable experience, not just because of the incredible food, but also because of the warm and lively atmosphere created by the chef and our wonderful server, Adelia.

The chef, an older gentleman with the energy of someone half his age, was truly a joy to meet. His passion for food was contagious, and he didn’t just serve us, he shared his wisdom, giving us valuable cooking tips that we’ll definitely try at home. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated to their craft and eager to pass on their knowledge, making the evening feel like more than just a meat, it was a culinary orgasm.

We started with the fresh burrata salad, and it was so generous in size that it could have easily served four people, but it was so delicious that the two of us couldn’t resist finishing it ourselves! Every bite was creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced.

For our main dish, we had the homemade gnocchi al pomodoro, and it was nothing short of amazing. The gnocchi were so soft they practically melted in my mouth, perfectly coated in a rich, flavorful tomato sauce. It was pure comfort in every bite.

Our delightful server, Adelia, made the night even more special. She not only gave us fantastic recommendations but also took the time to teach us a few words in Italian, adding a personal and cultural touch to the experience. Her kindness and enthusiasm made us feel right at home.

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of dining at La Luna Rossa Ristorante last night, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family, and the experience only got better from there.

Benny's passion for food is evident in every dish and interaction. He doesn’t just serve food, he creates an experience. His dedication to quality over quantity is refreshing, and you can truly taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite. It’s rare to find a chef who puts so much heart into their work, ensuring that each guest has a memorable and personalized dining experience.

Diana was equally wonderful, making sure we felt welcome and attended to throughout the evening. Her warmth and attentiveness added to the overall experience of the night.

La Luna Rossa isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience, one that we will remember for a long time. If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality cuisine paired with exceptional service, this is the place to go. We can’t wait to return!

La Luna Rosa is an amazing little restaurant that caters to their customers. Our server, Diana prepared her own choice of beverages, which were absolutely delightful. It was a pleasure to watch the chef prepare our meals. The meals we had were fresh, perfectly seasoned and mouthwatering. The selection of desserts were a perfect ending to a perfect evening out. We cannot wait to go back for another dining experience.

I wasn’t expressed with anything I had, not even one dish, but i was gonna leave a small family business alone as I didn’t have the heart to criticize in person, or even to write a review to hurt a small business. However, after my husband left a review, they accused us “clean our plates” because we didn’t like food, excuse me? we paid for them, of course I’m gonna finish them. I have tasted worse than this trust me, but I paid for your expensive dishes for their quality, I’m gonna finish what I pay for. That day was my birthday, my first night out after having a baby, my time was limited and I got a baby to feed. To not to complain in person ruin your restaurant vibe as your have other guests there, this is what a review platform is for. The mix green looks like exact from the box of mix green salad, I eat the same thing everyday from home, and I pay $12 to have it here, is the lack of effort is disappointing. I can taste the frozen seafood mix from the package and you had to over cook the lobster so it could hide it was previously frozen and maybe you were unsure about the freshness of the ingredients.we love italian food, and Italy is a country we love and keep going back for, we know what good food and ingredients taste like. Everyone entitled to their option, please don’t ask for feedback if you can’t handle the truth.

IMO you won’t get better Italian outside of Italy. The chef and family truly care about every bite you take. The gnocchi is… what food dreams are made of. Each bite is perfectly balanced between silky and salty, the gnocchi melts in your mouth. We started with the calamari and it was lightly battered and paired with a spicy red sauce - again, a symphony of perfectly balanced bites. My husband and I shared the gnocchi and the featured pasta (shrimp and octopus linguine). We all but licked the plate. The dining room seats a modest few tables so quality can be served over quantity.
I can’t speak highly enough on the attentive care this little gem of a restaurant takes in each customer and their experience.

La Luna Rossa Ristorante on Valentines Day ❤️🤍💚

A set Valentines menu by the amazing Benny and his incredible staff.

We chose this cozy, Italian spot known for its authentic cuisine because the chef truly puts his heart and soul, and family, into every one of his dishes.

We started with the plated appys (ANTIPASTO). The flavours were fresh and started with small bites. They included smoked salmon with red onion, arugula, and capers. Foie Gras and caramelized onions. Butterflied prawns. Egg plant Parmigiana (OMG. Tender, rich homemade tomato sauce, and sharpened cheese to pull all corners of your taste buds). And an antipasto medley (red peppers, artichoke, mushroom, and olives) - we added this throughout the plate to make for some rich, complex bites.

Next, PRIMO. The first course was a lasagna of all lasagnas. How can a bite of lasagna feel like a cloud!? A masterpiece of Italian comfort, this lasagna is a symphony of flavors and textures, layer upon layer of pure indulgence. Delicate sheets of pasta cradle a slow-simmered ragù, rich with tomatoes, a textured mix of bison/ beef/ elk/ pork, garlic, and Italian herbs. Creamy béchamel melts between the folds, while a generous sharpness of cheese tops the plate. Every bite is a journey—savory, cheesy, and deeply satisfying, like a warm embrace. This dish speaks of tradition, love, and the simple joy of a meal made with care. Benny, you’re one of a kind. This dish is one to compare to any you’ll ever have.

SECONDO.
The highlight of the meal (you’ll be asking HOW though can you highlight the last!?… well… here…)
Tomahawk Steak 💥 cooked medium rare, and seasoned perfectly. This luxurious steak had a perfectly charred crust to caramelize any bite, combined with a tender, melt in your mouth interior. Too good to be true.

DOLCE.
I had no idea what we were having during the whole course of this menu and I guessed tiramisu for dessert, because … I have no idea. There is no worthy introduction what we we served…
We had served to us cannoli ‘fingers’ accompanied with a soufflé espresso martini (nonalcoholic). Dipping the two was the most decadent bite I’ve tasted in a long time. And I hate desserts. It was bitter. It was creamy. It was light. It was sweet. It was all you want and need. I could’ve licked, drank, and absorbed every morsel. This is what dreams are made of. You haven’t tasted espresso until you’ve tried this - with or with out the cannoli.

And with that my foodie peers, I hope your senses have seen what - luckily - my taste buds absorbed.

Buon appetito!

The waitress was very nice. The food on the other hand, is outdated, small portions and overpriced. I feel I could taste frozen / not fresh ingredients in $30 - 40 dishes. Below summary:
- The mix green salad looked like of the box dressed with some olive oil and vinegarate. Shouldn’t be in the antipasti but it should be in the insalata if you have that section. We thought it was grilled vegetables.
- The grilled octopus, looked like it was grilled the day before. Plated on top of green leafs, was very tasteless.
- The seafood pasta you could taste cheap / frozen sea food as well as it was salty.
- The lobster for $47 with steamed vegetables was rubbery and salty and not tasty. Also here tasted like the vegetables were steamed the day before.
- Charged $9.5 for a bottle of water which was on the table when we set - we didn’t order but drank it, anyways overpriced.
We didn’t get desert as that was enough for one night.

Amazing place. Food is perfect, great service. Very small and intimate. Only like 3 or 4 tables a night served. Make sure you have 2 hours plus to enjoy.

Went here last night for my birthday. Had been here before when the wife and I first started dating. A tiny quaint little Italian place with great food. Make reservations, as seating is limited. But overall, great food and service from the main man chef himself. Would go back in a second!

If you like Beautifully cooked Italian Food, prepared by Master Chef Benny with passion he has, then you're at the right location.
We went there on Friday 20th Sept and were treated to an absolute delight c/w beautiful Red Wine.
One note: If you’re in a rush don’t bother to go there, because beautiful food takes time to prepare and serve.
Thank You Benny for an incredible experience.
