I was so excited when I found this bakery many years ago. Even better it had gluten free products as well as regular products. A few days ago I went for a birthday and Christmas treat but the products have changed. I wasted $15 on 3 gluten-free cinnamon buns. I got them home and found out that the wrapper/muffin cup they use to bake the buns was baked into my cinnamon bun, even after I peeled off the paper. I also purchased a bag of gluten free cheese buns and they tasted like rubber, even after I reheated them. So disappointed. Wish I had my $25 back in my pocket.

The baked goodies are good. The bread (whole wheat 80%) is a bit dry (not a criticism, but hopefully feedback to improve the bread).

Best place to get all your gluten-free baked goods. A wide selection of brands to suit your tastes and the in store baked pies, cookies, breads and especially the croissants are so delicious 😋 Worth traveling across the city for! They even make custom gluten-free cakes! Love this bakery 🥰

I have been coming to Lakeview for many years, the gluten free selection perfectly meets my celiac needs! The products may be great, but the constant rude customer service I encounter makes me question why I still support this bakery. Customer service is so important especially for a small business like this bakery, why is it that I get sassy comments when I am simply confirming that a certain unlabelled item is gluten free, or I can’t decide which flavour of cupcake I want and in return I get a big ol eye roll… these are just a couple examples of the horrible customer service I have received on multiple occasions. Why I continue to go back to this bakery and give them my money, despite how great the food is, I don’t know. I hope you take this review into account, as I have talked to other celiacs who purchase from this bakery and have had similar experiences with the staff! It’s not hard to just be kind and have patience!!

We picked up an apple pie for Easter dinner. Wanted it to be a little more special than your typical sobeys pie. But disappointed. Crust was pretty raw on bottom. Apple slices are too large and actually kind of flavorless.

Lakeview Bakery is a real gem! They offer a large variety of delicious breads, cakes, cookies, and many other treats, all of which are fresh and delicious. What I really appreciate is their wide selection of gluten-free options—everything I've tried tastes just as good as the regular items, which is hard to find.

The prices are also good for the quality you’re getting. It’s definitely worth visiting if you’re craving real fresh baked goods and not mass-produced, commercially made products. Whether you’re gluten-free or not, this bakery has something for everyone! My only wish would be an updated, modern website with more pictures and a menu with prices. Enjoy!

I picked up some Gluten Free red velvet cupcakes from Co-op in High River, Alberta.

Absolutely one of the most delicious desserts I have ever had. Thank you very much for making this gluten-free treat.

Best keto bread but it’s expensive. It is everywhere though.
