Last Best Brewing & Distilling

We love coming here on Sundays for happy hour cheap pizza and beer! The only issue I have is the beer glasses aren't very clean and have a hard time keeping a head on them. Very small issue and should not push you away from here as the beer tastes good and so does the food!

I don’t usually write review but I will for this.
Heard this place is good but I was sat half an hour ago and no server has come to serve us. Not exaggerating on the time. It might’ve been longer than 30 minutes. This happened on a Saturday night so staff should’ve been full, and the restraint was not even that busy. Made eye contact with multiple servers in the area and went up to the hostess asking wtf is going on twice.

In general, it’s your run of the mill distillery with average beer and food.

Last Best is truly the best brewery where you can create great memories with your family and friends.

2 years ago my dad visited Calgary from S.Korea for the first time and happened to walk into Last Best and have their Tokyo Drift IPA. He fell in love and wouldn’t stop talking about it since then (every phone call I have with him he always talk about Last Best😂). I was able to visit Korea this year and packed almost a whole 10L worth of Tokyo Drift. While I was buying the Tokyo Drifts, I bumped into one of the owners and told him this story and he kindly gave us their Last Best beer glass for my dad so he can get the fullest experience 😆

Gosh it was an absolute nightmare to carry that much alcohol across the borders but totally worth it. Never seen my dad hold a beer glass this preciously before and drink it with so much satisfaction 😂

We hosted a 50th birthday at Last Best yesterday and I couldn’t be happier with how it went. It was super easy to initiate and discuss options with their event planner, they have a great function menu, and you are able to do a combination of drink tickets and open tabs (and they manage the whole thing). The room had lots of natural light, was set up just how we’d asked, and felt great throughout the night because we could keep the patio doors open. The food exceeded my expectations and was very reasonably priced, and they let us bring in cake and candy at no extra charge. The servers dedicated to our group were friendly, helpful and made a point to explain all charges and how the final bill broke down. Everything about the experience provided by Last Best was top notch!

Great food and the beer selection is top notch.

The halloumi fries and birria tacos are crazy good. Same with the green tea rice lager. It's a nice place with a good atmosphere and tasty food and drinks. Sam the bartender was super knowledgeable about the beers. 10/10

I had an okay experience at Last Best. The biggest highlight was the lively atmosphere on a Thursday night – it was bustling, which added a fun vibe. The happy hour pricing was definitely a plus and made the visit worthwhile from a value standpoint.

As for the food, it was just average. Nothing really stood out or wowed me, so if you're going for the culinary experience, you might be left a bit underwhelmed. Overall, it's a solid spot for drinks and a social evening, but don’t expect anything too memorable from the menu.

We stopped by for some snacks and 2 flights of beer. Jasmine was one of the best servers we’ve ever had and she was super helpful in choosing what beers we should try and helping us plan our weekend in Calgary. Our two favourite ls were the Lime Ranger Lager and the Mr Rundle Nitro Stout. The wings and deep fried pickles were fantastic too. Thank you so much Jasmine :)

Really stupid place. Called them to confirm about live music. No Inglese...then oh we don't know... but your website says. Can you show us? Omg. The point is not a live music. The point is if they can't answer a simple question, I am scared to dine and place my order. I can only imagine the mess up....

Really good beers and excellent t food to go with! Solid 5 stars

We are visiting from Vancouver our first time in Calgary, Lina made our time at last best restaurant amazing. She was so lovely and had a very warm presence to herself. Food was yummy!! Will come back and recommend to others.

Tokyo drift was such a good beer. Courtney was an amazing server. Halloumi fries were fire. The vibes in this place are incredible. Sports bar meets cozy haunt.

Why oh why would you get rid of the nacho cheese sauce ???. The menu is getting pretentious and starting to lose it's charm.
