Amazing little Cafe in 11th ave SW..first time coming here and their suggestions were yummylicious..my coaching colleague had suggested to meet here as she works close to this place and her choice for this place was top notch..fresh food ...great ambience and amazing service...if you are around here please drop by and say hello to them..taste some of their awesome food..wishes for an amazing 2026.

We had a great experience at Layali Cafe. Ella and Nafas were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Their friendly attitude really made a difference. The food was delicious and fresh, and everything we tried tasted great. Overall, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, the service was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

We ended up at this lovely restaurant by chance as we were walking by looking for brunch/lunch. We were so happy to have discovered it.
The service was excellent – We were greeted by the owner and the server. The place was very nice and clean.
We had no idea what to order and were assured that whatever we ordered would be amazing – Bold statement to make. Regardless, we randomly ordered the Sfeeha, Mom’s Famous Falafel, and Mediterranean Linguine as well as Cappuccinos and the Mango Tango. Everything was delicious! Mediterranean Linguine was probably one of the best pastas I have ever had. Even though the menu only lists jumbo prawns; tossed in homemade rose sauce, it also came with mussels and other seafood. We ordered 2 beef and 2 spinaches of the Sfeeha. Fresh and excellent ingredients. I am not a fan of Falafels but couldn’t resist theirs – served with with fresh parsley, diced tomato, wild pickle, pickled turnips; topped with tahini drizzle – so good!
The drinks were amazing too! Will definitely be back.

This cafe is amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I come here all the time with my best friend and I recently came here for my birthday where the owner, and the staff put on the birthday song and got the whole cafe to sing happy birthday.
Service is great, shisha is nice and the food is good. Drinks could be better. Pricing is a bit too high.

The pasta here is genuinely really good and flavourful. It’s a bit pricier than I’d like, but it’s totally worth it. The portions are generous, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Plus, the entire menu is halal. We also ordered some shared starters, like poutine and lemon garlic shrimp, which were equally delicious and bursting with flavour. This is a pretty nice place with great food to enjoy in downtown. Totally recommend it. 10/10
