Loved the fireplace on the patio. Seating is great for socializing. The mocha I had was rich. Service at the counter was fantastic.

Le Comptoir, your pastries were so delicious before you started covering them with plastic wrap. Now, every croissant I order lacks crisp and tastes like it’s from Costco. Please advise as to when you will cease this strange practice.

A distinctive French-style café with rich coffee, fragrant and fluffy croissants, and an incredibly cozy, dreamy autumn vibe. Strongly recommended for French coffee lovers looking for a spot to enjoy a fall morning in Calgary. It's best to go early to get a good seat, as the café is quite small, but absolutely charming.

This is a charming little spot. So far I have tried the croissants and the quiche and I have never had better. Yes it is a little pricey but I think I can visit Le Comptoir a great many times for what it would cost to actually go to France! Also there some delightful shops nearby to help make Le Comptoir into a real destination: a bookstore, a consignment shop, a florist, a ladies clothing store, as well as a wine bar and more. Enjoy!

This coffee shop truly shines above the rest in our local area, boasting a charming European aesthetic that sets it apart. If you're looking for a refreshing change from the usual Starbucks or Tim Hortons experience, this place is a breath of fresh air. The terrace can get a bit crowded with tables placed closely together, but one downside is the absence of a paper menu; instead, you'll need to read the menu displayed on a board behind the barista. On the bright side, the coffee here is absolutely delicious, and the food is incredibly tasty.

Heard lot of great things about this place. Finally made a chance to check it out.

I felt a bit uncomfortable reading pastry labels far at the back while other pastries were in front of me (food safety wise). Overpriced in my opinion. Canelé was a disappointment. Kan you cake has better ones. Great atmosphere though. Amazing service as well. However, I’ll not be back.
