Great atmosphere with a lovely patio decked with comfy pillows and a wood fireplace to keep you warm. My main issue is that I had a London Fog and it tasted nothing like a London Fog. It tasted like slightly flavoured milk. I wish they kept the teabag in the drink so it could steep longer because I got no earl grey and no vanilla extract. I should have said something but I’m always shy to have someone redo a drink.

Definitely not worth visiting. Seriously so disappointed with this cafe, the place was gorgeous and the food & drinks were okay. However, the service was 0. I came up to the counter to order, they didn’t even said hi and just stared silently???? Not once in my life I had an experience where when ordering the cashier/worker DOESN’t say anything?!?! No hi, no thank you, no nothing. Once we’re done with the cups and brought it back to them, I said multiple times “Hi sorry where would you like me to put these?” A different worker behind the counter looked up and didn’t even reply. I don’t know what’s wrong, they can’t say they’re too busy because when ordering I was the only one in line and also the fact that I was the only asian and they seem to not do this type of service to everyone else kind of says something. I’m not one to give a bad rating to a cafe, unless the visit was utterly disappointing and I feel like they need to be held accountable. On top of it, they ask for 18% tip minimum, what a joke. (I came on a Saturday Afternoon around 1 pm, may 24,2025).

One of the cutest cafes in Marda Loop, the patio is lovely and the staff are so friendly and kind. The pistachio brioche pastry is delicious 🤤 I highly recommend everyone trying this cute little spot out if you’re exploring Marda.

I've saved this café for years and finally have gotten the chance to go dispite the lack of parking with all the construction. It is a very cute small place for a quick catch up with friends but not to get some work done. Ordered a $17 slice of quiche plus tip, was affirmed will be served hot hot, ended up being lukewarm and mediocre taste. Was not worth the price at all in my opinion and didn't fill me as much as a sandwich problem could have.

Le Comptoir, your pastries were so delicious before you started covering them with plastic wrap. Now, every croissant I order lacks crisp and tastes like it’s from Costco. Please advise as to when you will cease this strange practice.
