This café is simply delightful, with its cozy atmosphere and charming décor. From the snug blankets to the rustic pottery, every detail adds to the warm and inviting ambiance. And let's not forget the pastries – the croissants are light as air, and the galettes are absolutely divine. I couldn't resist ordering another portion. A truly enchanting experience!

This tiny quaint little Cafe has such a warm inviting atmosphere. The quiche and little desserts are to die for and the staff are great. The patio is dog friendly too!

Finally got to check out this place and it did not disappoint. They had a big selection of baked good and quiches available along with coffees and teas. We only got a latte and tea this time but will definitely be back for food next time. This place is small and cozy and we were able to enjoy our beverages on the patio by the fireplace with blankets since it was still a but chilly with snow on the ground. The patio is pet friendly so we would to bring out dogs next time. We chatted with the owner Francois and he was super nice. What a nice little addition to the neighborhood!

This is my favourite cafe in the city! :) It is amazing in every way. Francois is a delight, showing his passion through his food. The flavours are absolutely delicious and everything is super fresh. The drinks are lovely. Everyone here is very friendly and the atmosphere is like being in Paris. So many choices and so many reasons to love coming here...Vegetarian options: Everything here is vegetarian which is amazing and rare in this city. :)

If there was a proper bike lock-up nearby I’d give it an extra star. But that’s probably the fault of the landlord or the city, not Le Comptoir.Parking: So much construction in Marda Loop. Good luck! Even bike parking is non existent

Incredible atmosphere - it's like the cafe is right out of a Nancy Meyers movie. The food is also excellent - love it here.

This French Café is located at the very heart of Marda Loop. It's a very quiet, small and quaint Café. Their patio is perfect for every season. In the summer, it's refreshing and hidden from the sun and in the winter, it's cozy and warm. The negative side: it's always packed and it's hard to get a table sometimes. Their menu is very French (duh!) and they offer pastries such as babkas, croissants, financiers, etc. You will find also different types of quiches. The drinks menu is quite diverse with tons of hot and cold beverages. The staff is nice and polite. Prices are higher than a regular bakery but worth it. I always end up coming back for more pastries!
