Place has entirely gone way down hill.
I was a longtime customer about 20 years ago. Food was always good but the service was embarrassing. They'd never check up on customers or refill water etc....
You'd always have to go up to the register to attempt to track someone down to pay. Hadn't been there in five years as there's one across the way called GOLDEN BELL and honestly, wsy better service and food. We gave them another shot a few days ago and nothing has changed.
It's hard to imagine the service is still this ignorant especially in today's world where everywhere and everyone is competing for your money.
The food has gone downhill from before as well. Never again.

Lemongrass is amazing every time I come hear! excellent service and nobody makes Shrimp Salad rolls as good as this place does :) my go to every time

I am a long time customer of Lemongrass West going on I think 7 years at least. My fav was #49 charbroiled pork and springrolls on vermicelli noodles, often take out, sometimes dine in, Oct Nov and Dec 2024. I am sad to say Lemongrass West- it's gone downhill in the last year. I have tried the charbroiled pork now 2 different times - it is not good. The pork was not charbroiled, it is soft like stir fried, no browning, soft long thin slices very fatty pork. The fatty pork is not edible especially when not charbroiled. The meals both times had barely any vermicelli noodles. They don't even sprinkle nuts on top anymore. The springrolls have been really hard not crispy, and when you can bite through the hard as rock crust, you chew and chew-just very chewy springrolls. I don't recommend this dish anymore.

Service and food had gone down hill a bit over the years. But I support mom and pop places.

We come here all the time. Appetizers are the best. It's very casual and maybe that's not to everyone's liking but we live it. Food never disappoints.
