Took friends to LeVilla for a birthday dinner and they were impressed. 2 of us had the trout, 1 short rib and 1 special of flat iron steak with potatoes gratin and asparagus. Service was outstanding as per usual. The food and service are the reason we keep going back to LeVilla.

We went to LeVilla to celebrate my mom's 80th Birthday this past weekend. Overall, everything was great: they sat us out in the Atrium as requested and turned the speakers down as we had asked for a quieter table. The complimentary pretzel buns, drinks, appetizers, fingerling potatoes and veggies (which were done crispy and not overcooked) were all awesome. They also gave us a complimentary piece of cake for my mom's birthday and our waitress was really sweet and charming! The only thing I would say is that we all asked for our cuts of beef to be done as "medium well". They were unfortunately all overcooked and were definitely "well done". We didn't say anything because we were all halfway through our steaks before we realized that the middle was also overcooked. I just think for a restaurant that markets themselves as a "steak house" they should be able to distinguish the difference between medium well and well done?

I had a wonderful dining experience at Levilla. The service was impeccable, and the food exceeded my expectations. For the appetizer, I chose the baked brie with freshly baked bread, which was outstanding. The brie was soft, with a perfect balance of savory and sweet, complementing the warm bread beautifully.
For the main course, I opted for the seafood Bucatini, and although I forgot to take a picture, it was truly exceptional. The sauce was rich and creamy, and the seafood was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection.
An added bonus is the ample parking, which eliminates the hassle of finding or paying for parking—a small but appreciated detail. I highly recommend Levilla for its diverse menu, expertly crafted dishes, and excellent service. Not to mention there also a gluten free option ?

This is a must experience for calgary!!! The service was so good, the hostesses and servers all made us feel like part of the family. The food was incredible. Usually I have 1 negative thing to say about 1 item I order from a restaurant.. there was no negative. The duck spring rolls were amazing, the lobster bisque was perfect, the Wagyu steak was mouth watering, and the seafood pasta was an adventure through the sea. Also the fruit tart was the cherry on top. Not too sweet and full of flavor. Literally so impressed with this establishment and I suggest you do not miss out! It’s clear the restaurant is committed to using the best ingredients and delivering a truly enjoyable and accessible dining experience. Highly recommend since it is reasonable price and it tastes amazing ! We had Lobster bisque (forgot to take picture ) , scallops with black risotto , Neptune with New York strip loin , Cod and prawns , chocolate molten cake and crème burlee. Our group of 15th had a lot of fun last night and Chef Rick's passion for his culinary craft truly shines through in every dishes. Two thumbs up!

The service made us feel very unwelcome and as if this was not a place for a family with small kids. This was before our food was overcooked and when requested for adjustment the chef was argumentative about it not being so. They also charge for more than 1 soda drink refill which at such a restaurant with ~$50 entrees is just penny pinching. Some of the wait staff also didn't understand basic clarifying questions and messed up our party's orders.

Le Villa is a little hidden gem in Calgary that has a great menu and comfy, wonderful atmosphere We have eaten here several times over the years and just came back after they reopened recently They have added some new menu items which was a welcome surprise so we chose two I ordered the flank steak which was good but just wish it came sliced. The mashed potato wasn't mashed enough and could have tasted a bit better but overall it was good. My husband ordered the seafood pasta dish in a creamy dill sauce and that was absolutely delicious! The size of the prawns and scallops was big so and so yummy! If you love dill the sauce was amazing! The service is always excellent! Our waitress was lovely and came around a few times to check in. Highly recommend for a date night or evening with friends!
