this isn’t mcdonald’s, the king or wendy.
cooked to order smashed burgers with american cheese - classic. they got this locked down pretty tight.
came in a sunday - busy, the ice cream side of the restaurant was busier.

excellent folks running till and efficient folks at the grill, cleaning as they go. food is made to order.

it’s a great product, with a good number of staff - so yeah it’s not 2 can dine for 13.99, it’s waaaay better than that.

I think the worker may have missed our order or something? 3 parties after mine got their order before us. Waited 35 minutes and then had to ask the workers to check up. Won't be coming back. Service is poor.

I love coming here. This is one of my absolutely favorite burgers in the city, always hot and fresh. Quick delivery on orders, and the cutest little patio too!

Parking: The small lot next to the building has a couple spots available! Lines are tricky to see but it's freshly paved! The bump getting in is tricky if you have a low rider vehicle.

Servers are friendly, and I like the monthly specials. The chili cheese burger is fantastic! And the dirty fries are quite tasty. They give free water which is a nice bonus since I don't like sodas or beer. Try the dealcoholized beer too!

Small place, not too much seating, so you might have to wait during summer busy season. Good for lunch, but the food is made fresh to order so be prepared to wait a bit. It's not fast food, it's better.

Got a smash burger, so good! Another member of our group had the chicken burger which also looked good. The fries are crunchy all the way through.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality.
Totally recommend!

The burgers here are great but the wait is atrocious. Was told it would be an hour before they could start my order. I love their burgers but it's too bad about the prioritisation.

The service is good, the guy at the register was very kind and knowledgeable, it was quite busy so he seemed a little overwhelmed but communicated wait times and everything well and didn’t rush us.

The atmosphere on the patio is peak Calgary culture, with a little grocer across the street and icecream right next door. There was a lot of wasps but that can’t be helped with the flowers.

The food was very mid. I’m sorry ? I paid almost $60 for 2 burgers, dirty fries and 2 drinks, which is kind of absurd seeing as the burgers are the size of an A&W burger but double the price. The burgers weren’t bad, but they just weren’t mind blowing, lacked uniqueness and flavor, it was just a very mid burger (Empire with Cheese & Spicy Korean Empire Chicken). The dirty fries were disappointing, smaller than a McDonalds poutine in size with barely any sauce and toppings.

Overall, nice to experience and would be cool if you want icecream afterwards at Made by Marcus. Would I choose to go here on a regular day or for a date? Probably not.
