The waitress brought one of our orders incorrectly and misplaced the others. It took her 20 minutes to return after we called her three times. They returned three dishes to the kitchen, where they discovered the mistake was only with one. However, two other misplaced dishes were brought back to the table, but they were only half warm. It took another 30 minutes for the last order to arrive, and we ended up missing the chance to enjoy our meal together.

Male bartender upstairs with longer hair was great, it was the young lady working with fake
nails who has a bad attitude and doesn’t stop talking so bloody loud who ruined the vibe. She complained the whole time rather than tending to tables. Complaints mainly about customers. It’s nearly empty in here too lol. Yorkshire puddings are the dryest worst things i’ve ever had— the au jus is basically black water.

The bartender took our payment, and as we’re leaving I overhear her saying “did they even pay”….her attitude is insane.

I would eat anywhere else before this place.

I recently visited The Limerick Pub on a quiet Sunday afternoon, hoping for a relaxed pub experience but, unfortunately, left disappointed. While the space itself is clean, tidy, and what you’d expect from a neighborhood pub, the experience was far from welcoming.

The service was the biggest letdown. Throughout our visit, one server in particular spent the entire time loudly complaining about their shift, which echoed through the room and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. To make matters worse, they left stacks of dirty dishes piling up on our table and even spilled a drink all over one of our seats without bothering to clean it up. Despite asking multiple staff members for a simple drink refill, it sat untouched at the bar while the same server continued venting about their job. Others around us had to leave their tables just to request basic condiments and meal essentials—something no guest should have to do.

The final straw was when we walked out, leaving food and drinks unfinished due to the poor service. Instead of any acknowledgment or concern, the server seemed more focused on whether we had paid than on the clear issues that drove us to leave in the first place.

The food? Passable at best. Classic pub fare, but the roast beef we ordered was disappointingly dry, paired with a watery au jus that did nothing to save the dish. It felt like a missed opportunity—especially for a Sunday roast, which should be a staple at a place like this.

The Limerick Pub has potential—the space is inviting—but the staff’s lack of professionalism and subpar food execution hold it back. Someone call Gordon Ramsay; this place could seriously use a “Restaurant Rescue.”

Great pub. Awesome specials. The stack house burger is great on special, defently not worth 20 bucks.

Harsh. Drove all the way from the NW for the $29 Strip Loin steak advertised on the website.

They apparently don't serve it anymore, we found this out after receiving prime rib. Our waitress was great about things when we showed it to her on their website and the manager came over and took things away.

We paid for the drinks and left because we really wanted steak and then on the way out the door they even had the S29 Strip Loin steak advertised on their own specials board as well.

Update your specials guys, that was a long drive in poor conditions.

I can't say anything else was poor about your establishment as I've frequented it plenty over the past 20 years, you usually do a really good job. Your staff was really professional about things as well.

Clean and Cosy environment, food was o.k but not amazing. Price was on the higher side for the mediocre quality of food. Only one waitress on and she was doing her best but her knowledge of the menu was lacking. Overall not a complete disappointment but not eager to return.

Very limited selection of alcohol free beers, we have some great Brewers here in AB producing - it would be nice to see greater support for these local breweries.

Good was disappointing; tried their New! mussels with fries, the mussels were terribly over cooked (like rubber!) & many were bad :(

Our server was very friendly & helpful.

We hosted our son’s 18th birthday here and was not disappointed. Brooklyn our server acted as a dedicated host and did a fantastic job. Understanding that it was a Sunday evening, The staffing was not sufficiently resourced thus preventing a five star review.
