This boutique restaurant checks all the boxes. Service (exceptional - Big Shout OutTo Emma and the entire Team), Ambience (incredible), Culinary Creativity (flavourful and absolutely heavenly and to die for). The way all the entire team presents the menu and the exquisite details of each dish excites your palette. An experience beyond expectations!

This place has a great atmosphere, all dishes that we ordered were very delicious and appealing. It's a hidden gem in the city. Great coffee.

We came here after a morning at a spa, so this was early dinner. We had been previously as a large group of ten, and had good memories. This time not so hot.We ordered tomatoes with feta, a pasta, and cauliflower.Service was fine, but the runners advice to smash up the tomatoes into the feta, resulted in a bowl of Tomatoes cream soup….not great advice. Ruined the dish. The pasta was good, but the noodle’s irregular shape resembled a bowl of squid tubes and tentacles vs pasta. The cauliflower was as good as before. As with everywhere now, prices have increased 30%-50%. And, the portion appears to be reduced. We will forget this visit, and let Ten Foot Henry love only in our memory! For the price, would not recommend.

Superb Cuisine Overshadowed by Lackluster ServiceMy partner and I chose Ten Foot Henry for our anniversary dinner, enticed by its reputation as one of Calgary’s culinary gems. While our anticipation was met with culinary delight, it was equally matched by a service experience that was, regrettably, underwhelming.Upon arrival, we were seated at a charming window table in the bar area, a promising start that hinted at a memorable evening ahead. However, the initial pleasantries were soon overshadowed by our server Izzy’s perfunctory greeting, setting a tone that felt more suited to a fast-food establishment than a restaurant of this calibre. This approach to service was not isolated to Izzy alone but seemed a common thread among the staff who attended to us, all of whom appeared more focused on efficiency than on enriching our dining experience.A particularly disconcerting moment came with the billing of an additional slice of sourdough bread—a minor request that was met with an unexpected charge. This incident, though small, felt indicative of a broader disregard for guest satisfaction. It must be said, the culinary prowess of Ten Foot Henry is undeniable. Each dish, including the standout tomatoes and sourdough, was a testament to the kitchen’s excellence. Yet, the refusal to refresh our side plates between courses meant that the distinct and delightful flavors of each dish were muddled, a misstep that detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. For an establishment celebrated as a beacon of Calgary’s dining scene, the disparity between the quality of its cuisine and the caliber of its service is striking. On a night meant to commemorate a personal milestone, the absence of any acknowledgment of our special occasion only added to our disappointment. In offering this critique, my hope is that Ten Foot Henry sees it as an opportunity to elevate its service to match the unparalleled quality of its food. A dining experience, after all, is a symphony of interactions, flavors, and moments that, when harmonized, create memories that last a lifetime. It is in this spirit that I share our experience, with the hope that future patrons will find the excellence in service that complements the exceptional cuisine of Ten Foot Henry.

A restaurant can be judged by how it treats its solo diners. It's one thing to wait hand and foot on a group of two or four, they're worth a significant investment. But a restaurant that also is attentive took a solo diner who will occupy a table but spend only half, that's special. Ten Foot Henry is special. They have optional small portions so the solo diner can still try several dishes, they were attentive but not rushing me out. They made excellent recommendations.I had a cocktail to start, then enjoyed the scallops and their roasted cabbage. All perfect and delicious, of course. The butterscotch pudding was to die for and I finished it off with a tawny port. Exquisite.Overall, a delightful interlude.

Huge shoutout to Roland who served me and my boyfriend today as we dined here for the first time! He was so funny, personable, and lovely (and I heard that same attitude across every table he was serving). The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere of the restaurant is so nice.

All the vegetables are soooo good ❤️???????;??? ???????? $?? (?/?)??????? $?? (?/?)??????????? $?? (?/?)??????????? $?? (?/?)???? $?? (?/?)????? $?? (?/?)—————————? Sip & Savor:For those with a sweet tooth, “The Dormouse” is a must-try; it’s practically a sweet juice in a glass. While I savored my friend’s “Rip Tide,” a less sweet cocktail that beautifully complemented our dishes.? Petite Pleasures:We dove into tuna, and though the portions were small, the taste was mighty. Tuna with chimichurri? An unexpected delight!? Unique Tagliatella:Tagliatella with kale pesto surprised me in the best way possible – with hints of citrus.?️ Spicy Cauliflower:The cauliflower dish packed a spicy punch, but the true stars were the cabbage and cauliflower – veggies done right! ? ?‍? Stellar Service:Kudos to the fantastic staff! Each dish was a masterpiece in both presentation and flavor, with ingredients that danced harmoniously.

I dined here last week and it was a fun experience. The service was amazing and loved the explanation of the dishes we got, and everyone was so welcoming. The food was average and nothing stood out as incredible, I thought maybe the staff was busy with the resturaunt being crowded however the kitchen staff were standing around so I assumed that is just how the food is suppose to be. Overall a good night out, just not mind blowing.

Overall, lovely gem for the City of Calgary. Came here for lunch recently but I have dined here on numerous occasions in the past.House staff are extremely pleasant and waiters are very attentive to your needs. Although there are no standout dishes, the menu has a good variety of items that are simple and very tasty. I think it's a good place to take friends and family as there is likely going to be something for everyone. The space is a bit tight and so it can get quite loud where the dining room fills up. The concept of the open kitchen is nice but the food smell permeates the entire space.
