I recently visited this charming establishment and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is truly exceptional—warm lighting and a welcoming atmosphere that made it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal. The photos I took here turned out beautifully, and I was completely satisfied with my experience.

The service was equally noteworthy. The barista was friendly, attentive, and skilled, crafting drinks that were not only delicious but also showcased a true passion for his craft. His genuine and personable approach made us feel right at home. I must bring my ID with me to try some more drinks!!

As for the food
Curry Udon: It was well-executed, with a flavorful curry broth and tender noodles, though it didn’t stand out as particularly unique—it was a solid, traditional Japanese curry soup noodle dish, deserving of an 8/10.
Beef Tartare: however, was outstanding. Served with a crispy tart shell, a delicate white sauce, and an avocado base, it was a well-balanced and innovative take on the classic dish. I would rate it a perfect 10/10.
Snow Crab Hand Roll: was absolutely spectacular. With generous portions of sweet, fresh crab meat and a few pieces of creamy avocado, it was, without a doubt, the highlight of the meal. This dish easily earns a 10,000/10, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

In short, I regret not discovering this place sooner, and I will definitely be returning soon. A memorable dining experience overall!

Stopped in with some friends and my husband for a late night bite and we really enjoyed it. The food and cocktails were delicious. The service was excellent too. Bartender was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations.

Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy.

My second visit. Won’t be back.

My issue was the hostile treatment from the woman expediting food at the pass. I walked into the restaurant, got about 15 feet past the entrance, and she reprimanded me for not waiting at the front. I told her I wasn’t aware I had to wait at the front entrance as there’s no sign instructing that. Nor were there any staff present when I entered. I won’t get into every specific detail but suffice it to say her demeanor was degrading.

Relatedly, to avoid this kind of misunderstanding perhaps management might consider using a ‘Please wait to be seated’ sign. That, or simply don’t treat customers that walk past the front entrance the way she treated me.

In terms of the rest of the service, it was mixed. Some were super helpful, others seemed disinterested in being there.

Food was a mixed bag. The tonkatsu sando was nowhere near as yummy as on my first visit, one year previous. That was a drag.

The hand rolls were quite good.

The real issue was the woman expediting. No bueno. Won’t return based on that altercation alone.

So… after so many reviews and tik toks found on this place I needed to check it out. The ambience and presentation was 10/10 but the food quality lacked. The hand rolls were tiny, mostly rice, seaweed was chewy. Sashimi platter was fresh but fish was thin, and the other dishes were really odd. Agedashi tofu was in a sweet gravy sauce with peas etc. which isn’t typical at all, zucchini dish had a sesame salt that was verrry salty. But Gyoza was really good. I will say our waiter was very sweet! Overall food was 5/10 with some highlights but I wouldn’t go back unfortunately.

Lonely mouth sour and udon with handmade noodles- say no more. This place always slaps. I go for happy hour when I can but also go whenever I’m hungry downtown. Sashimi is top tier and the light soy sauce they ferment in house is unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere.
