Bread is not what is used to be. Not fine and the texture now is different. Store do not have enough change for $20 bucks otherwise he will give you all coins for a changed. I decided to pay credit card with a fee of .25 cents.

I like this Filipino store. It's a walking distance from me and they have mostly what I'm looking for regarding snacks and frozen food. The employees are very nice and very polite when talking to their loyal customers. I highly recommend going here.

I've been a loyal customer of LORIZ BAKERY & Convenience Store since arriving in Canada back in 2012. My introduction to Canadian life began in Calgary's Bridlewood area, and being unfamiliar with Canadian cuisine, I missed Filipino flavors. Cooking our traditional 'Ulam' in a 'Pinoy Style' was a constant, and sourcing ingredients from a Filipino store was essential. Luckily, I found a Filipino Bakery & Convenience Store right beside my first employer in Canada. The owner, whom we affectionately called 'Ate,' was amazing. From 'Chi-Chirya' candies, frozen and canned goods to the iconic 'Pandesal'—a staple of our Filipino breakfast—LORIZ had it all. Their variety of Filipino breads was impressive, and even the children running the business were fantastic, fostering a great relationship during my 4-year stay before moving to Ontario.Despite searching in Ontario, nothing matched the warm hospitality and familiar ambiance of LORIZ in Mississauga. Though there were other Asian stores, none provided that distinctive Filipino welcome. So, after six years, I found myself back in Calgary, conveniently located near LORIZ's Mcleod Branch in the Heritage Area. Once again, LORIZ Bakery & Convenience Store became an integral part of our Canadian journey, offering a taste of home whenever we missed it. When nostalgia hits, there's nowhere else to turn but LORIZ for our favorite meals and necessities.

Loriz’s Heritage is much nearer to our apartment. We could also walk if we want. I’m just glad that they have variety of bread. I miss it. Now that I’m pregnant, I’m craving. Yum!? I miss Filipino products! I’m happy they have a convenience store. ?
