We were in the area and decided to stop for dinner this evening. The spring rolls and vermicelli bowls were delicious, and staff was very pleasant. Kids loved the aquarium too!

I ordered four dishes on Uber Eats: Bún Bò Huế, seafood fried rice, bột chiên, and bánh bèo, with a total bill of $68.

When the Uber delivery arrived, the bột chiên was completely soaked because the dipping sauce container was broken and leaked inside the box. There were also no green onions included. I contacted Uber and called the restaurant, but they said it was not their responsibility if the sauce container was opened and told me to contact Uber instead.

After that, I tried the bánh bèo. The portion was extremely small, honestly only enough for a young child, with just a few pieces and three very thin slices of sausage, also no green onions. Right after taking a bite, I realized I was chewing on someone’s hair.

At that point, I completely lost my appetite and did not want to open the other two dishes anymore. I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Nearly $70 wasted and thrown straight into the trash.

I ordered seafood, but it was undercooked and very fishy. Even the noodles were not cooked either. It absolutely was not worth the price. The attitude was extremely rude, when I was looking through the menu, the service was staring at me with a very uncomfortable look. Do not even bother trying this place!

I came for lunch and was a bit disappointed. The sub was dry and didn’t have much flavor. The soup also wasn’t very good, and the vegetables in it seemed burnt or damaged from being too cold or old in storage, so they didn’t taste fresh. The place itself was fine, but the food could be improved.

A Softic

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waitress was incredibly rude, didn’t even greet us, and seemed uninterested in helping. She took my husband, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law’s orders and even mine as well however she completely forgot to bring mine. After waiting while everyone else ate, I had to ask where my food was, only to be told she forgot to place my order. Her attitude was unpleasant and unprofessional throughout, making the entire meal uncomfortable. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for decent service.

I hate leaving 1 star reviews but this one I’m actually happy about leaving a 1 star. If this restaurant could get a 0 star, it would get a 0 star. I wish I would have read the reviews first. First of all, when I walked in, I was greeted with absolute disgust. Extremely impolite and very unfriendly. Second, I ordered the soup, it was so salty that I couldn’t even eat it. I had to take it back. I tried to muscle through it but there was no way possible. She took it back and brought out something that was ever saltier. I couldn’t even do it. When she asked me if I was finished, I said yes and that I can’t even eat it it’s so salty. Looks at me like I’m stupid or something. Didn’t offer to help in any way that I just wasted $18 on a soup I couldn’t even eat with attitude. I recommend to stay far away from this place! They will not be in business very long

Plastic in my daughter’s avocado smoothie did it for us after several issues with the order . Tried to communicate with the owners kindly about the issues but they just stood and looked at me.

Drove from Airdrie for take out order only for the order to be fixed 4 times with 6 ISSUES!

Things wrong:
1) Lady (owner) noticed my beef banh mi was NOT spicy. So she re-made it for me (I wouldn’t have known until she pointed out

2). There were special instructions for the second Banh Mi. I asked if she did that but she said she didn’t do it. Again she had to remake it.

3) I left the store, then realized there were no Avocado smoothie. Came back then waited some more for it to be made

4) Went back, and saw that we were missing an order of spring rolls as we ordered two batches. Thinking we get 4 per order for price of $9. But we also noticed we were given salad rolls even tho we never ordered it.

Went into store to complain. The lady owner said that the FOUR spring rolls were TWO ORDERS. Which leads me into the 5th issue.

5). She gave us the salad rolls as a mistake in place of the Avocado Smoothie.

6). The final straw for us!! AVOCADO SMOOTHIE had PLASTIC IN IT! See photos

That’s when I walked in and asked for a FULL REFUND! I was kind enough to express them earlier with all the issues, but all they said was sorry. Customer service was terrible. No discount or no refund. Until I came back after the smoothie issue.

She said she would give me a refund and just stared at me. I said “ how are you going to do it? Thru the online app?” She said “yes”

Then she still stood there. And didn’t do anything about it. Till this day (next day) I don’t know if I’ll be getting a refund. I will have to follow up.

Look I understand mistakes happen. And I am understanding but the overall experience in how things were handled makes me not want to come back.

I said to them. “Look your food is great and I want to come back, but your customer service is terrible” as they both just stared at me with no response.

The price is overpriced for the amount you get as well.

I won’t be making a trip to come out from airdrie any more. Not worth it. Will be waiting for my full refund.

Everything we ordered was wrong and the wait was long. Which is really disappointing because the last time I was here a few years back everything was great! We ordered a vermicelli with beef, spring rolls and shrimp. And got beef, spring rolls and something with a bone. I’m unsure if it was pork, beef or chicken, they also didn’t add the peanut sauce with the order of vermicelli . We also ordered two orders of salad rolls which were crammed into one box with only one peanut sauce when there should have been two since there were two orders. The watermelon bubble tea I got was good though. Good food, but it would be better if you got what you ordered. Also they have a big Canadian flag in the window that says “Proud to be Canadian” which is really nice!

This was the first time I tried Lotus. I ordered a Lemongrass pork sub. I actually couldn't eat it.
It wasn't fresh at all. The bread was very stale as was everything else.

Stale hard bread for the Bahn MI. Spring rolls tasted like refried from last week. Crazy slow service only 3 people eating and it still took 40 minutes to get my coffee. It's expensive too spent $75 for two people and the food was trash. Only good point is there is lots of parking. There mango drink was great. Everything else terrible.
