very cheap with large portions of food. super delicious grilled pork belly and their pinakbet and goto batangas is superb. compliments to the chef 👌👏
Enjoyed last night's karaoke, the owner is very nice to extend up to 2am (original closing time is 12mn) the best filipino restaurant in calgary. must try their sizzling sisig plate and beef pares!
the best goto batangas, lomi overload grilled liempo, isaw and pork sisig! ordered 2x on doordash because it was soo goood...
I ordered sotanghon for the 2nd time via delivery and it was dry this time. I ordered siomai and it was sweet, too sweet even when it shouldn’t be.

Says outside that they will be open at 7pm on a thursday night and they are closed due to kitchen maintenance but 30 mins later my family are still waiting and they're still closed and not answering any calls. Don't say you're open even though you're not! Very disappointing. Update your hours!
The food is so gross. I'm a homeless guy and shelter food is 100000x better than this. This is gross to look at and worse to eat

I saw this place featured on a viral IG reel and decided to come try the brunch buffet, and brought a friend with me who said some of the options in the brunch buffet tasted like home and reminded her of street food in the Philippines. I wasn't adventurous enough to try the liver or the innards dishes but the rest of it was quite good. I found that the buffet was heavily deep fried foods + carbs, but there were a few veggies too. I liked the mixed veggie dish that had quail eggs mixed in--I really love quail eggs. This is a great option to dive head first into Filipino street food and to just try a variety of things! The desserts were basic desserts of small mousse in a cutely decorated cup, or fruit. But they also had small cake/buns that were pandan and ube and I loved them.
My favourites were the mango salad, the soup (I think it had imitation crab in it), the quail eggs, and the little sausages!

I wanted to love this place but it was a total disappointment.
We came here for the all you can eat after seeing IG and TikTok videos. I guess a was expecting more specially with the selection of food based on those video. But when we got there, the food selection was limited, there were a lot of container that was empty and stayed empty the entire time we were there. They also had a lechon by the counter but it was cut and there were no way of cutting it. We weren’t sure if it was part of the AYCE or extra or just for show.
They also didn’t have sawsawan ready, they were all in the back by the kitchen, all empty. I had to ask someone to fill them up. For a Filipino restaurant, I thought that was kind of weird as sawsawan is a staple in a Filipino table.

I strongly advise against dining at Maane's Restaurant. My recent visit with friends, after a recommendation based on our previous positive experiences, was a complete disaster. We waited 45 minutes for our meal, only to be served bland and tasteless Lomi and Goto Batangas. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the server confirmed that the food lacked flavor. However, the owner bizarrely claimed that the tastelessness was intentional and that we were supposed to add our own seasoning. This was not only unprofessional but also utterly confusing. The owner’s sarcastic attitude toward our feedback was unacceptable. Although we offered to pay the full price despite not finishing the meal, we received only a 25% discount in return. Given the poor food quality and dreadful service, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I was excited to try to this place because of filipino brunch buffet and they had decent rating. I felt it was a miss and I was very disappointed. My friends and I came around 1pm so we we're thinking that there would still be plenty of food. When we got there a lot of the stuff were already out and when they did refill it was just the Bihon and dried fish. There were a lot of stuff missing or had nothing in it. Some staff also started eating while we were there. I just didn't think it was worth the price of almost $30. On top of it, the lady at the front had no customer service skills. When we came in we were so confused and had to approach her at the front. She stayed at the till just drinking her juice box?. Would probably try again and recommend to try eating the food in their menu. Definitely not the brunch buffet.
