Mad Rose Pub Royal Oak

We came as a group, were seated in the patio area, froze... no manager came out and addressed us... food was cold... no discount.. and when I contacted the Pub, reply was dismissive..

Mad Rose is a classic neighbourhood pub. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fat fries, and it was spot on—simple, juicy, and just the right amount of greasy goodness. The portion was generous, so no complaints there. I’m giving it a 4/5 because while the food was great, the service was a little lackluster—slow and not exactly eager to make my day. Still, worth the visit if you’re in the mood for a solid meal!

Perfect place for dinner, drinks or a meeting. Not to loud to visit with friends and a great menu with reasonable prices, great food and friendly staff! I'll be back soon 😀

It's very consistent in the quality of food beverages and service. A great variety also . Been there many times. I think you'll like it.

We’ve always liked this pub and hadn’t been for a while, so looked forward to going again. Today our experience wasn’t a good one. The pizza isn’t the same as it used to be , very thick crust that tasted doughy and hardly any pizza sauce. Toppings were ok. We won’t be returning.
