Mad Rose is a classic neighbourhood pub. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fat fries, and it was spot on—simple, juicy, and just the right amount of greasy goodness. The portion was generous, so no complaints there. I’m giving it a 4/5 because while the food was great, the service was a little lackluster—slow and not exactly eager to make my day. Still, worth the visit if you’re in the mood for a solid meal!
We were a party of 15. We phoned Mad Rose in advance and warned them that we were coming. They accomodated us in the heated patio. Shannon took our food and drink orders and was cheerful, attentive and well organized All the food and drinks were delivered promptly and correctly. All of the group said their meals were great. Salads were fresh and good sized portions No complaints at all. We will definitely be back

This is my regular pub to go to. Food is always great, recently the service has been going downhill, long wait time between seeing server(or after asking for bill) and not as friendly. Unsure why, maybe since I’m seeing new staff lately…
