I love marble slab and have been going to the chain for years. This experience did not live up. I ordered cheesecake ice cream, which is white. When the employee went to scoop the cheesecake, she dropped it in a blue ice cream container. While she disposed of that scoop, she used the same scooper which was covered in blue ice cream. There also didn’t seem to be enough cheesecake left for another scoop. She scrapped what was left, which was mostly melted. I ended up with half a cup of melted cheesecake ice cream swirled with blue ice cream. When she handed it to me, I mentioned that it seemed quite melted. She responded by saying “yes, we’re having a problem with the temperature”. When I indicated that perhaps it wasn’t up to quality, she responded by saying “it’s a one time thing”. That was an odd response. She knew that what she was giving me was bad but just indicated that it’ll be better next time? It was a bad experience to have issues with the quality, quantity, and swirled with a flavour I didn’t ask for. Was also quite odd to just be dismissed when these things were politely brought up.

I drove from home to specifically pick up icecream. I waited over 20 mins for someone to return back to the till. Because my time is limited, I couldn't wait any longer. I put the ice cream back in the fridge and was about to walk away - but then he returned.

I gave a 2 star instead of a 1 star because the guy was very friendly and apologetic.

I'm sure my next visit will be better and I'll update my rating then.

I placed an order on UberEats and after 35 mins of waiting they cancelled the order on me. But I could go onto UberEats and place a new order. Thanks for wasting my time.

The girl who was working today had poor customer service. She was on her phone most of the time. And I told her I wanted a small cup and she charged me for a regular instead and when she gave me my ice cream, she didn’t even clean the cup so my hands got messy and I had to do it myself.

Got my free birthday ice cream here!! The service was fantastic. The lady made me feel special for my day. Thank you 💕

She was at the back arranging some stuffs and saw us and went to the front almost seemed hostile. She did not even greet us since we were standing there. Ice cream cones have hole at the bottom so the ice cream kept on dripping. Not coming back.

Ordered a large S'mores ice cream cake for my wife's birthday and couldn't have been happier with my choice. The cake was high quality and beautifully decorated - and they also customized the written greeting so beautifully. Customer service was excellent both when I called in the day before to place my order (a nice lady answered) as well as when I came in store to pick up the cake (a young man was working the front counter). They have a wide selection of ice cream cakes, some of them not visible online so call them to ask what they can do - you can't go wrong with any of their flavours!

This ice cream chain is one of the finest in Calgary. They offer a wide variety of delectable flavors and other options such as cakes and smoothies. The staff was exceptionally courteous and professional, demonstrating their humility and excellent training. Special recognition goes to Devanshu, who provided us with outstanding service and made our experience truly enjoyable.

We always have liked to go to Marble slab as we have one by our house and they have always provided excellent quality and service. This was not the case when we went to the Marble slab at Market Mall yesterday. My wife wanted to have a chocolate brownie sundae. They used cheap store bought chocolate sundae syrup which was not even warmed up. The brownies were so cold, hard and stale that my wife thought she would break her teeth. The only thing that was edible was the ice cream. When my wife showed the clerk she agreed and threw them out and when we asked to talk to a manager or the owner she said they were not in and that was that. I then followed up and asked for a phone call and did not receive one. I thought for this reason I should write this review. I usually only write positive reviews but this was a very poor experience.

I tried twice today to order something. The first time the counter wasn’t manned, and the second time, there were two people working and one of them greeted me but zero of them managed to take an order. If you’re busy all it takes is a little communication to the customer, but I was the only one there at the time. If you feel like ice cream, you’re probably better off going to any other place in the mall.

Paid 11 dollars for two flavours (taro and cotton candy) and the Taro was ROTTEN. It tasted sour which is definitely not what taro is supposed to taste like. You can also see the literal flakes of rotten milk on the side of cup. Please check the quality of your ice cream before serving.
