Marble Slab Shawnessy catered an ice cream station at our wedding. Despite rocky communication on my end (I blame bridal brain), they handled everything with professionalism and grace. The ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the variety of flavors and toppings offered was a hit with all of our guests. The team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I truly appreciate their patience and dedication to making our event special. Thank you CJ

Love the ice-cream here. Small portions are a good size. There are many options and ways to have your ice-cream plated. Good variety choices & taste. Not overly sweet either.

I’ve been coming here for 7 years. I’ve only been going every other Saturday, the two ladies that would work the afternoon are very nice. This time I decided to go on Civic day, due to having the day off. I went around 7:30. The people working at the time were very rude. They seemed like they were new, and I couldn’t understand them. The ice cream which was upbringing to this whole situation was good. I know working in a new environment can be hard, but at least try to be nice. I hope the manager trains them, but if I were their manager I would’ve fired them.

I’m not here to post a bad review at all because the ice cream was good. Except for the fact that in one of my bites was a rusty washer, not sure if it fell off the ice cream machine or something. But definitely not the topping I chose.

Nine years as a customer: this used to be a 5 star store under the previous owners (Boyd & Sandy). Sadly, the new owners don't keep the store clean, they don't honour Marble Slab's loyalty program & staple ice cream flavours ie. Coconut & mix-ins ie. Cherries are no longer offered :(

This is the worst Marble Slab store. Don't recommend.

New owners it seems, and much worse than before. Been going here for about a decade and the service has gotten far worse.

Had a set of the stamps cards to redeem for a free cone, denied on the basis of not using them anymore and told to use the app. Refused to honor the old loyalty program in any way. The new loyalty program apparently involved manually writing down all your information (name, email, phone number) and the amount you spent on a piece of paper they have instead.

Then proceeded to deny it because they weren't on the same card, something I've never had a problem with before.

The manager refused to do anything about it, and the ice cream (large) cost 11$ now. Probably never going back.

I ordered a crumble cake today from Uber eats, not knowing the price in store until I received my cake (which had the sticker price on it) and saw that they up charged it by $8.00 on the Uber eats app. That’s excessive in my opinion, so I was very disappointed. Most items are only a couple dollars more on the app to offset the service charges which I understand, but $8 is too much.

Horrid experience, I asked loud and clear for two separate scoops of ice cream. The middle eastern man there seemed to not understand. Mixed the scoops once I corrected him he stated that he asked me if I wanted them together. I told him I never heard that. That man for working in customer service needs to learn to raise his voice a little bit, he was mumbling the whole time. After restarting the ice cream he mixed the two scoops AGAIN. I work in the industry so I know what it's like and learning to speak loudly is essential. Very unfortunate to be having this type of customer service. I wont be coming here again.

Place is very dirty! Came with my kids on mother's day, not exactly enjoyable to sit surrounded by garbage.
