I had never had Filipino food before, so I wanted to try it. We had pork sisig and spring rolls. Before that we had a soup that was a surprise. It was a clear broth with very good flavor. I have no idea what it is called. The sisig was delicious as well and we mixed it with rice. The spring rolls were similar to good spring rolls at other places and had a nice dipping sauce. I wish it was closer to my house, but I will be back anyway.

It was our first time to try Maria's Kitchen & Grill food and we highly recommend it. Definitely satisfied our Filipino food cravings! We tried their Fresh Lumpia (best Fresh Lumpia i've tried in Calgary), Pork Sisig, and Chicken Inasal, we really enjoyed our meal. We will be back for sure! Thank you as well for the friendly and very accomodating staffs. ?

Charmagne is really friendly and helpful. The food are so good especially the bulalo and lechon. It’s really one of the best and authentic Filipino. The place is cozy and clean as well. Love this restaurant!

Highly recommended restaurant offering authentic Filipino cuisine with a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Very wonderful place to eat. The food is excellent as well as the service.
Excellent place and good food great customer service ❤️❤️❤️
tried the chicken inasal with java rice, little side veggie, & lumpia. here’s a breakdown of my personal opinion.
lumpia: good
chicken: unfortunately chicken was so dry (i could barely chew & swallow, lacked flavour,
side veggie: way too sweet
java rice: rice itself was dry (maybe a cheap brand of rice) the flavour was very very very good, spot-on deliciousss!!
conclusion: i wish they’d up their game with the chicken inasal, as it is also a “grill” restaurant. i’d appreciate a more “mang inasal” take on the chicken, having 2 options for breast or leg. they should have chicken oil lots of it, and calamansi & soy sauce! i am a big foodie, quite knowledgeable about filipino food, & this place has so so so so much potential. i’d probably give them another go in the near future.

This is my new favorite Filipino spot! I’m glad I recently discovered them. They said, they just opened in December 2023.
Food was amazing, delicious and flavorful.
Not to mention their items are affordable.
They have the best Kansi in the city. Perfect for cold weather. ❄️
Thank you for a great dining experience. ?

The best Chicken Inasal in Calgary! I’ve had their chicken plenty of times now and it’s my favourite.

Love the food.
Their BellyChon is commendable! The contrast between the CRISPY exterior and the JUICY, flavourful meat makes it such a true delight and I consider it to be one of my favorite aside from Kansi, HomeMade Corned Beef, Spring Roll, Sisig & Chicken Inasal from their menu.
