This place has gone downhill, unfortunately. We ordered the Schnitzel, Burek, and cauliflower salad. The Schnitzel was WAY smaller than all the photos, no lemon. The Burek was soggy and reheated in the microwave, in the past was crispy and delicious. The cauliflower salad was WAY over salted, we didn't finish it. We've eaten here twice before, but unfortunately this was the last time :(

We hosted our wedding at Marko’s Kitchen and it could not have been more perfect. Zika, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. From start to finish, he handled absolutely everything, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our day without any stress. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was flawless. Our guests are still raving about the experience! We are so grateful to Zika and his team for making our wedding day so special. We would highly recommend Marko’s Kitchen for any celebration.

A nice cozy restaurant with family vibes. Delicious food (I recommend the Chevapi) and the Turkish coffee with dessert. Zika was very warm and hospitable. I'll definitely come back

Home cooked meal in a beautiful space full of personal touches. Enjoyed a delicious BBQ platter to sample various meat options with a fresh cauliflower salad. Delicious! A must stop either for a date or family meal

Service is welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent: authentic flavours and fresh ingredients. The portions are very generous. Very nice ambiance, with unique Eastern-European touches. Great selection of vegan/vegetarian dishes. I am definitely going back to try more delicious items on their menu.

Visited with my family while on a short vacation in Calgary. Great family run business with quality food and great service. Felt at home and everyone enjoyed their meals. Looking forward to going back next time we're in Calgary.

I am really disappointed with the food in this restaurant. At first, when I looked up their menu online, I thought that this would be a really good choice. However, we were truly disappointed. I ordered a salmon on a bed of mashed potatoes with spinach. Honestly, I order salmon a lot and I did not like much the taste of this one. Also, the potatoes with spinach as a side dish was not my cup of tea. I must say that my order was the best one we did (we were a party of three people).
My son ordered a hamburger, and, oh boy, it was really not edible. I’m sorry that my son did not tell me right away, he just left a pretty big piece of meat and refused to eat it. He ate burgers better in McDonalds or any other place (the meat here was dry and not edible). The cabbage roll, which was ordered by my husband, was also really bad. Besides, their prices are ridiculous. The cabbage roll (one !) was $23.5, the hamburger was $25 and my salmon $29.
By the way, the prices on their website are lower than the ones they give you in the menu at the restaurant. We spent almost $110 and are not happy with the food we got. The only thing that was Ok, were the one appetizer (Marko’s rolls) and shredded cabbage salad. Overall, I don’t recommend going here.
