The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with beautiful decor reflective of the family's Eastern European origins. It's a family operation, and you can tell there’s real passion behind everything they do here. The food reflects that too—thoughtful, flavourful, and clearly made with care. It takes FOUR months to ferment his homegrown cabbage.
It’s rare to find a place where great food and great people come together so naturally. This is the kind of spot you look forward to returning to again and again. Highly recommend!

We went to Marko’s Kitchen for a family dinner and had a fantastic time! The food was so fresh, delicious, and filling. The menu was very inclusive for some of our guests who had dietary restrictions without compromising flavour and authenticity. The atmosphere of Marko’s makes everyone feel like they are family - we had a great chat with the chef and are so grateful for our time spent there. Just a little place that we were passing and decided to stop in for lunch. We are so glad we did! The food is Eastern European, very tasty & very plentiful. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was like you were sitting in your own kitchen having lunch. I think this is going to be one of our favorite places. The homemade hamburger was more than super delicious! The gluten-free almond flour crackers with a cheese spread was a meld of flavors that surprised my taste buds. I had the Mediterranean salad and it was so fresh and so so cool on my tongue and just the right thing I needed for lunch... Thank you Mario's, It was such a pleasure having lunch at your family establishment.

My husband and I were looking for a locally owned restaurant that had good food and a friendly atmosphere. We found that at Marko's Kitchen. We were served quickly and the food was hot and delicious. We started with Marco's Rolls. The pastry was flaky, the meat was seasoned just right and the homemade cheese was creamy. The pork schnitzel was lightly battered and delicious, the homemade fermented cabbage was fresh and crisp. We are planning to go back and try some more items. It was a wonderful dinner.
