Live in the area and decided to finally give this place a try. It didn't disappoint. Enjoyed every taco we had and the dessert. Service was very friendly and prompt. I see some comments on the price but I think it was fine. Sure there are cheaper places in town, but this is an inner city, pricier area. Will be back for sure!

I can’t speak to the experience in the restaurant as we ordered delivery but wow - if our tacos were that good delivered, I can only imagine how amazing they would be in the restaurant. The standouts were the chicharron and the chile relleno. Admittedly the prices are a bit high (at least on the app) but the flavour will definitely bring us back. The packaging was excessive though - plastic containers in cardboard boxes - looked cool but annoying to deal with.

Party of five and I brought two people from Mexico as we heard this place was great. We ended up with 4 tacos and 2 drinks for $60 and ended up leaving to another place to actually eat and be full. Extremely disappointed. Do not recommend their tacos.

We visited Masa Mama to celebrate a birthday and were warmly welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne. The atmosphere was intimate yet inviting. The salsa flight was a highlight, offering four distinct flavours that were each exceptional. Cocktails were crafted with care, both in presentation and taste. The weekly tacos were a standout, particularly the lamb, while the regular menu offered a diverse and appealing selection. Service was attentive, courteous, and seamless. We look forward to returning.

Holy was the food ever phenomenal here!! We started with the quesabirra and that thing was juicyyyy. The Korean fish taco was also something else, still thinking about it and craving it 3 days later 🙇♀️

But the tacos tasted like… you know when someone mispronounces a word, because they learned it from reading a book and haven’t heard anyone else say it, so you’re proud of them for trying, and want to help them with the pronunciation? It’s like someone saw a photo of a taco on the internet, and made something that looked like the picture.
It’s the same owners as a half dozen other trendy restaurants in the city, the head chef is Filipino, and I’m pretty confident they haven’t hired or consulted a Mexican to help with this menu.
The soundtrack of the evening was DMX. Not the vibe.
