It was my first time coming here over the weekend, I went with my toddler who was screaming and making a fus! The owner was very sweet and patient with us! Had to take the food to go but Mashallah the food was amazing! And great portions! I was craving somali food for awhile and so glad I came here! I will definitely be back and inshallah bring my mom a long.
Abdulrahman is THE MAN... courteous with his smile while advising to feed 3 of us a beef broth soup, a mixed platter of Somali rice with Somali chicken, pasta, and chicken biryani... we also ordered some chicken samosas and beef samosas that were amazing... and of course, you can't NOT order the famous Somali bread... if your lucky you can get a banana to enjoy an ethnic Somali experience.

I have been to this place a couple times now and it is amazing. The food is delicious, the staff are really nice and the atmosphere is cozy. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a true authentic experience. To top it all off the food is very reasonably priced.

Delicious food and lovely people.Try the special plate for $12.50 if you're not sure what you'll like. It's a kind of BBQ style chicken with rice and salad. So nourishing, affordable and flavorful. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful evening we had at MashaAllah! From the moment the soup arrived everything was terrific. Especially loved the goat and the lamb. Even the rice was super addicting.A friend once translated the Arabic blessing MashaAllah as follows and I wish it for this restaurant:"What I just heard, saw, lived or witnessed is heavenly beautiful and may Allah protects it from all evil eyes, intentions or from any chance of being damaged, I here manifest my good intention to like, protect and respect, God will decide kindly the rest.."

Excellent find, so much flavour in all the dishes - the meat was super tender and the soup was especially delicious! Chapati nice and chewy, and our waitress/chef was absolutely lovely! Highly recommend!

The food here is amazing the reviews are legit. The staff is very kind and helpful. I just wish there was more constancy with price of food as each time it is a different price and they run out often but overall the food is still amazing
We loved their goat and lamb. Their chapatis taste like they're home-made. Very tasty chai masala. The servers are very courteous and friendly. 100% Recommended!

I normally don’t leave a review for restaurants, but for this one I felt like I had to. The food was most authentic and spot on. I had the goat meat and rice, which really hit home with the great flavours. I’ll definitely recommend this place. The owners were welcoming and extremely kind.I came about 5 minutes before closing time, but they still ensured that I got great service.I look forward to my next visit and would definitely suggest this place if you want to try amazing Somali cuisine.

Pls do not go to this restaurant I had the worst experience ever in my life, imagine going to this kind of place to eat but they don’t know what to serve first, so let me share with you what happened to me and my friends as well, so went to this Somali restaurant, they gave us a soup then after food came along but when they bring food they also have to bring a water or something to drink but all this time we ate we did not get something to drink, so still waiting on them to drink us a water, and all time we are eating without drinking anything so after we stood up and ask them for drink and they told us they don’t have no drink and 15 minutes later they brought us a jar of water to drink but we already left the food on the table because we are not feeling comfortable eating imagine we shocked imagine something happen to us, he has to care about our life too not only care about money he makes from us! City needs to look into this restaurant and make the public feel safe!

Staff are very friendly. The restaurant smells amazing. If you are not hungry when you go in you will be by the time you eat. Tried some goat and had the chicken meal both were tasty and fall off the bone good. Rice is so flavourful. Ample helping size. Also got to try the tea, so sweet and delicious spices.Very nice, clean and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back again.
