Good value . Amazing food . Always great !
Was with 5 others and it was a bit noisy
This place has been around for ever...I've been going for 40 years!!!
Amazing and consistent food
Best pizza in NW Calgary!
Went specifically for lasagna, which was excellent. Service was also excellent. Only thing lacking was really that the atmosphere was dated and just nothing special
Yep I love this place and I love the Gluten Friendly crust. They do let you know up front that there is a chance of cross contamination. In the last 4 years I’ve never had an issue
Always amazing pizza’
Had a fantastic experience here! I ordered a Traditional Greek Pizza and a Traditional Ale. Good food, service, and ambiance.
Off the charts good.
Matador is wonderful! The service was very good. We had steak sandwiches... delicious!

The pizza was ok. The sauce has no flavour and I think with this style of pizza with thick toppings and cheese, you need a flavourful sauce. Not my jam.
Ultimately pretty disappointing. Given that they have premium prices you'd expect premium ingredients but they are all medium to low quality. They are a place that puts pepperoni under the cheese FYI. The garlic bread is just store bought texas toast with store bought garlic butter, not worth more than 25 cents a piece at most, the salad is equally disappointing, store bought croutons and a terrible ceasar dressing that tastes of onion and not much else, freeze dried parmesan. The large pizza is a standard medium everywhere else, extra large is normal large. The cheese is bulk mozzarella, no flavour, they do put lots of it which is a plus but they burry low quality pepperoni under the cheese so it's just soggy low quality pepperoni flavour throughout. The crust is dry on the top, mushy under the ingredients and greasy in the bottom so they are just squirting oil on their cooking surface instead of painting the crust with oil, again just plain white bread crust, more hard than crunchy. The lasagna is not an actual lasagna, shredded lasagna noodles with meat sauce, one layer of cheese on top, no beschemel sauce or anything else. It's essentially mediocre quality bar food but they charge like a premium pizza place, basically you're going to to get the same quality from pretty much every chain restaurant but it will be a lot more affordable.
We just received our order through Skip and were honestly really disappointed, especially after hearing such great things about this place. We ordered a pizza with chicken since I have a pork allergy and can’t have many of the other toppings, but it was honestly inedible.
The chicken was extremely unpleasant — we kept biting into hard cartilage pieces and ended up spitting out food with nearly every bite. Eventually, we just gave up and threw the whole pizza out.
For something that cost over $30, I expected way better quality. I understand that precooked sliced chicken is standard, but the amount of cartilage and poor texture was unacceptable. I am really disappointed in the experience. I am giving 3 stars because I imagine the pizza would be quite good with pepperoni, etc.
Matador used to be my go to place for pizza, but the last couple times the pizza hasn't been as good. A big red flag for me is no sauce, they have been cheap with sauce lately. The crust and the toppings are great though.
Don't please don't order from online, it's not the first time they did this, paying extra and NOT getting the extra, probably new way of making money. You guys killed my cravings I ordered because my husband liked you guys, well sure enough not going to order anymore from you guys
