Double-check the total price of the buns - they will SCAM you if you don't pay attention. If confronted, they fabricate a lie and persist even when confronted with evidence. Obvious SCAM

Always be cautious of what they charge you at the end. They tried to sneak an extra $8 dollars to my total. Left and will not be coming back.

After I paid, I asked again why it was $20.20, and she told me the payment was successful, clearly not understanding what I was saying. When I pointed out that it should have been $4.60, she looked at me in disbelief and said, “Alright, I’ll give you a refund,” as if it was my mistake. I asked her to refund the money to my card because I paid with a card, but she gave me cash instead. It was very uncomfortable, and she did not apologize at all. However, the sausage bread was really delicious.

Bought a birthday cake from them just to throw away. First the name on the cake was wrong. The name was supposed to be: "Kingsley" but they spelt "Kinjessy". We unfortunately didn't notice the name until we got home and really took a closer look. Worst of all, there was a long piece of hair inside the cake between the layers of cream. How can we eat the cake? Of course we threw it away. Good bye $38! Never coming here again!

Pastries are good and fresh but customer service is horrible. Got yelled at from the short hair lady because she couldn’t hear me correctly and she misunderstood. Wasn’t so busy the line up was only 3-4 customers but she made it seem like she’s got 20 people waiting for her. She asked if I wanted one box or two, I said one and she assumed I said two when she had to bag it again she got mad and said I wasted her time. Becareful with her bad customer service when you go there to buy bakery.

I have been going to the Maxima bakery in Vancouver's since I was a kid, it was nice to find that there is one near where I live now! I love the sesame and red bean balls as well as the hotdog buns, I wish they had the one with the mayo tho.

Their BBQ pork buns and egg tarts are probably one of the best in the city. I load up whenever we are at Sun’s for lunch. They only lose a star for the grumpy lady that cashes you out. She’s not always there but it really seems like she hates her job sometimes. :( Regardless, I still recommend them.

I visited several times so far, all are good!!! I love egg tarts, bbq pork bun, chinese doughnut, curry beef bun, pork floss spring onion bun, raisin pastry…. I love them all and am willing to return again. All were fresh when i bought them which I most love!
