I always come to this bakery for some buns, lately their quality has gone downhill drastically. No need me to say more, have a look at the 2 photos, that’s custard bun, they charge more but quality no longer exists.

best pineapple buns in calgary, my favourite is the pineapple bun with a slab of butter in it 😤. pretty much anything you get from here hits - the tea eggs are so good.

I usually enjoy their roll cake until I found egg shell inside the cake today.

Great bakery, always very kind staff! I’ve gone there a few minutes before closing and they brought out pastries and even made me a Hong Kong style bun. Buns are soft, fresh and there’s a lot of variety. Always trying something new and never disappointed. If you go you must try the custard bun and the Hong Kong style bun. 100% my favourite bakery in Calgary!!

They aren't awful, but they used to be so much better. I usually go to Logos Bakery which is a block away, but they were unexpectedly closed today, so I came back here for the first time in years. They really skimp on the filling here, there was barely any in the BBQ pork buns. Definitely go to Logos instead.

Barely any fillings in the BBQ pork nor the deep fried minced pork pastry. I think a bit overly priced. One egg tart is 2.60 ? I can get half a dozen at other places for 8.00.

Nope for me.

The pineapple bbq pork bun is to die for 🤤.

Double-check the total price of the buns - they will SCAM you if you don't pay attention. If confronted, they fabricate a lie and persist even when confronted with evidence. Obvious SCAM

Always be cautious of what they charge you at the end. They tried to sneak an extra $8 dollars to my total. Left and will not be coming back.

Before paying, I questioned why it was $20.20, but they did not respond. After I paid, I asked again why it was $20.20, and she told me the payment was successful, clearly not understanding what I was saying. When I pointed out that it should have been $4.60, she looked at me in disbelief and said, “Alright, I’ll give you a refund,” as if it was my mistake. I asked her to refund the money to my card because I paid with a card, but she gave me cash instead. It was very uncomfortable, and she did not apologize at all. However, the sausage bread was really delicious.
