Great: Crispy pata - right crispy-ness, ample serving size, good flavor, reasonable price. Okay naman: Fried chicken - crispy, great flavor, a bit dry. Buko pandan- great flavor, smaller serving size for the price. Needs improvement: Palabok - a bit soggy noodles, small serving size, lacks taste of palabok, more on atsuete coloring. Pancit bihon guisado - noodles a bit under cook, lacks meat and flavor. Halo-halo- mostly ice which dilutes the flavor, lack 'halo' contents, and pricey. Kare-kare- vegetables way undercooked, lacks meat, more on gravy which itself lacks depth and flavor.
Pork rice is of average taste but the grilled pork was a little dry. Halo halo is not that exciting.

It sounds like your dining experience was quite the salty surprise! It's unlikely that the kitchen staff was taking revenge with the last call; it's possible that there was a misstep in seasoning. It's always a good idea to give feedback directly to the restaurant so they can adjust and ensure a better experience for future meals. Hopefully, your next culinary adventure will be perfectly seasoned to your taste!
They upgraded their menu to salty bulalo, salty kare kare, salty pansit, and salty sisig.

We burst through the doors, ready to party, but the only thing that greeted us was an almost empty restaurant and a single server looking like they hadn't slept in days.
The food (we had kare-kare, chopsuey, bulalo, rice, and drinks; deserts were as scarce as a unicorn at a party!!) was decent, but the atmosphere felt like we were dining in a mortuary.
The lone server, who also seemed to be the chef, the manager, and the entertainer, tried here best to keep us alive, but it was a losing battle.
It really did feel like a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
What an excruciatingly-ultra dull resto. Pillows should've been on the menu!

I am 5 months pregnant and had to go pee litterally that second lol.... I walked in. Asked for the bathroom, the nice lady at front showed me where, then the manager(filipino lady medium length brown hair) followed me in the bathroom seconds after, trying to OPEN the stall while I was on the toilet!!!! to tell me that I can go to superstore to use the bathrom next time... (She couldnt have waited? Seriously?)
Disgusting behaviour. Unprofessional and quite frankly just inhumane entirely. I felt like I was being treated like some drug addict or something.
Its a bathroom... And just because i didnt spend money there should never mean you refuse the bathroom unless they give you a reason.
Kindness should be universal. Not just based on "appearance" or opinion for that matter. That is the definition of profiling and exactly why hate and racism will never end in this world. I would never support a bussiness like that.
The restaurant was empty and had one person at a table while i was there. So from my perspective i was not disturbing anyone and i will never go back there again, especially not to spend my money with all of the review talking about how repulsive and low quality the food is.
DO NOT GO HERE. LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I just picked up my mom from the airport as she travelled from Vancouver to visit me and we called this restaurant and wanted to order food for to go,because this is her favorite restaurant so i called them to order for pick up and the maxs staff said they they ran out of so many food that we like including tofu, sinigang, halo halo etc. So we settled for what they have at the moment. We were otw to pick up the food and decided to just dine in instead and the staff said we cant change our mind to dine in there because we ordered for to go and against the strict policy. So we asked them if we can even get a small table because were starving and wanted to just eat there instead but because the food is already packed theres no way we can eat there . We would totally just eat with disposable cutleries and just need a table. We have the same exact situation in maxs vancouver and they let us change our mind and dine in instead. The staff has very extremely poor customer service skills.l am so extremely disappointed.i will never come back here again. Never

Disgusting food. Was a total Rip off. No taste. No meat. Roast pork had all the big bones at the bottom with little bit of meat nicely on the top. Container looked good from the top and heavy. Chicken was so bad. No taste , no seasoning. See that attached pic of the heavy bones at the bottom of the tray …. Very very disappointed ?. Paid $300. Food was not even worth $100. Had to order Emerald Palace again for kids

Expensive and kare kare beef was very hard. Service was good though. Though the floor was sticky.

Have been waiting for 20mins for take-out pre-order. No staff to speak to and no staff inquires.
This was my first time here and it will definitely be my last. When we arrived, we spoke to the person at the front desk who informed us that they only had an unlimited buffet for the day. I mentioned that my son is only 3 years old, and the girl assured me that children below 3 years old are free, so we decided to start eating. However, after we paid the bill, a rude Filipino guy approached me and accused me of my son being four years old, demanding that I pay for him. I refused, and he turned his back. Seriously? Who does he think he is? Accusing me of lying when I've never even spoken to him. My son only had a small portion of rice and chicken from the buffet. The food was unsatisfying, and the service was extremely disappointing.

Great place to eat if you're craving for Filipino food back home. Even better if you come here during their buffet day.
