They think everyone wants their coffee with cream! Even when you clearly ask for black coffee! Going through the drive through anticipating your much needed coffee only to find after you have drove away they added cream! This happens almost every time. Staff needs to listen to what we are asking for- pay attention like you actually care.

Drive through order is a mess. Been telling my order with my head almost outside my car window, and still cannot hear me properly. Employee is putting an order of 2 coffees when I need 1 only. I raised my voice so she can hear properly and she told me dont yell at me. Well If she is getting my order right I don't need to raise my voice a bit.

We ordered from here tonight and I know its McDonald's but to not even be able to eat it at!!!! All.. food was cold, half cooked, overall greasy and even the pop was not right.. all water no syrup..
So disgusted... never ever again

I would rate the experience at this location negative stars if I could. Ordered a spicy chicken meal and coffee through drive through and now I have to get the seats in my vehicle steam cleaned. I dont recall ordering to have an entire tube of spicy mayo added to the container and 4 inches of mayo in the burger itself. When I grabbed this burger I had handfuls of sauce completely ruin my interior. My pants, jacket, seats and center console looked like a tub of sauce. My 3 hour drive home after flying back from work up North was disgusting. After calling the manager and expressing my frustration and state, I was told to send a picture of the burger and I could turn around and go back for a meal credit! Zero sympathy and no care in the world. Pathetic for a billion dollar corporation. I am done with McDonald's and their lack of ability to make a basic burger. Everyone should avoid this company in general, it's garbage!

Came here for breakfast supposed to be fast food not slow food why would people have to wait 15 minutes after ordering to pick up their food in the Drive-Thru and then when I get to the office across the street my foods cold you need to hire people that actually care about their customers and have pride in what they do I would never ever waste my time with this location again 💯

Great service and no problems with my orders, food as to be expected. What i love most is they have no problems allowing you to sit inside for as long as you wish so somewhere to enjoy your long chats and coffee comfortably without feeling like your a burden or unwanted. Been here a few times and never any issues. Great staff and clean lobby & washrooms something im not used to seeing being from Edmonton area.

Worst McD’s in NE Calgary, avoid at all costs. They do not have enough staff and drive thru is one window at all times. This morning they ignored us in the drive thru and we finally drove up after 3 other cars in the other lane was acknowledged. After waiting a longtime to get to the window, (they do not have the breakfast promise for sure or they just be handing out free food) the worker advised well the other lane was is not working. Like what?, the lights are on, it has no sign, no cone, nothing, so we as customers are to magically know this and this was her excuse? She was awful in her response, give your money to another chain and location, this place is not worth your time.

Worst location in calgary hands down. Especially the morning crew that works around 5am. Waited 16 minutes for a medium caramel latte. Every time these two women are working.. its a nightmare. Get better staff mcdonalds.

This was by far one of the worst McDonald’s experiences I’ve ever had — and that says a lot, especially for a location that proudly advertises itself as “locally owned.”

We waited 45 minutes for our food and had to return to the counter multiple times because the staff couldn’t get a basic order right. I paid extra for 3 syrups with my hotcakes and received 1 syrup and 1 peanut butter — something nobody ordered. When I pointed out I was missing two syrups, the worker asked me “which syrup?” McDonald’s only has one syrup. If your employees don’t even know your own products, that’s embarrassing.

The sauce situation was beyond ridiculous. We asked for sweet and sour sauce and were told they were “out.” Then habanero — also “out.” Big Mac sauce was offered instead. Meanwhile, we could clearly see sweet and sour sauce in the back and on another counter. They weren’t out — staff were simply too lazy to restock it.

At 3:59 AM, I ordered from the dinner menu (nuggets and a cheeseburger). I brought my kiosk order to the counter because I had trouble paying at the kiosk. Staff refused to make my order, claiming they were switching to breakfast — yet I watched them continue serving dinner items to other customers who paid at the kiosks. The inconsistency and unfair treatment were infuriating.

Hygiene was also a serious concern. In the entire 45 minutes we were there, I did not once see anyone wash their hands or hear a hand-wash callout. Food was handled carelessly — hash browns were dropped without gloves or tongs.

Customer service was just as awful. One worker decided wiping lobby tables was more important than helping customers at the cashier, forcing us to use kiosks that were all out of receipt paper, leaving us without order numbers. While I was speaking to a worker, she received a phone notification and checked her phone mid-conversation — completely disrespectful.

For a “locally owned” location, this place is poorly managed, unsanitary, and staffed by people who clearly do not care. Long waits, repeated mistakes, lazy service, unfair treatment, and zero accountability. I will never return and strongly recommend avoiding this location altogether.
