worst bbq ever, food taste like full of additives. Not natural taste, got diarrhea every single time. Feel dizzy of their food taste after 4 hrs of eating

I do not know how I could have missed this place!! When my friend Herman told me to try this bbq skewer place that his son loves, I thought, maybe my son would love it too (#pickyeaters 🙄). So off we went to this non-descript Chinese BBQ place beside my fave Korean grocery. My son and I were blown away, specially with the bacon wrapped enoki mushrooms skewers! Everything was very tasty 😋. Great thing with this joint is that they can cater the spiciness to your palate, my son and I were good with just the regular one. From grilled oysters topped with cheese, to crispy chicken skin, to gizzard and chicken liver for the more adventurous, to the quintessential pork belly and beef ones, the garlic and scallion covered scallops paired perfectly with the spicy steamed okra drizzled with sauce and a cup of sesame sprinkled steamed rice. It was so delicious my son requested to come back after a week! There’s ample parking space and the price is reasonable, just remember that the price is per skewer! I suggest, if you’re in a date, try one of each first. You can always order some more. Kid friendly and the staff are nice, explaining the menu and offering options if you have dietary concerns. Great corner street food-like restaurant. It’s a shame that Alberta won’t approve front grill Charcoal tables. All done from Kitchen. Great tasting lamb skewers, garlic and tofu skins. Even pig feet were delicious and chewy. Highly recommended for gatherings or date nights. Good atmosphere.

Watch out for spicy levels. Extra spicy can really bite you!

The flavour from the charcoal grill is on another level. The lamb and beef skewers were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with that rich, smoky taste you just can’t fake. You can tell they use real charcoal—every bite was incredible.
We also tried a few cold side dishes—everything was fresh, and full of flavour. Portions were generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the vibe was cozy but full of energy. Whether you’re going with friends or family, this is a hidden gem in Calgary you need to try.
Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Kitchen was really slow. We had a reservation of 10 people, and some of the food would come in half-servings (ie. split in half, and the other half would come at the end of the meal). In general, most Chinese restaurants are good at serving large parties, but this restaurant was essentially empty except for our table, and the food still came way too slow, and way too small. They offered us a couple of $10 vouchers, but we won't be returning.

Located close to main road. Price is reasonable. Good for small party groups.
