I am yet to return in order to try Mercatino food. I did not have a good experience trying Coffee around noon one time. However, my rating is solely based on the business's strategic location, proper food price that caters to young folks in business in the two business towers downtown, besides a few other factors keeping in the mind that in fact all businesses at The Bow's small food court are represented with excellent catering business strategy from Tim Horton's to Sense Asian Restaurant to Mercatino and Patisserie du Soleil. Mercatino's food menu looks quite appetising. It certainly meets the minimum Canadian business standards. I already have high expectations for both taste as well as service quality..

A big fan of Mercatino Bow Tower. I have lost 10 pounds eating the proteins from the Hot Buffet and Greens/Veggies from the Salad Bar. They use Fratello coffee and it is delicious. Always friendly staff and service. The energy bites are delicious. Will continue to make this my go to spot for lunch.

A very pleasant experience. Walked in the place at 10:00 AM ordering sandwiches drinks and cookies for 25 people for my meeting across the street. The food arrives right on time, was prepared according to the order. They saved my day.

Eat breakfast or lunch at Mercatino at least once a week. The food/staff are always great and they provide a variety of food on the buffet so your not eating the same thing every time you go in. Their Americano coffee is also one of the best I have had.

I was part of the general kitchen staff that helped opening this location years ago . They had a great head chef at first (dallas I think was his name) and great cooks to make it more restaurant quality food. The issue was that they picked guys that are great in a kitchen but had zero (authentic) customer service skills. Thats the reason I left also the per hour rate was low when I was there . The overall concept worked in the location picked its in Smart sibling owners from my experience and I knew even back then it would work in Toronto downtown core area . Not sure about the quality these days but they did lose the head chef within days of opening and I see mixed reviews years later . Hopefully all is well with the brothers and sister owners .
