What a great night out at Mercato, we had excellent service at the Kitchen bar, albeit temp gets hot, but seeing the chefs in their element is an amazing experience! We enjoyed our drinks and every mouth watering shareable dish we ordered did not disappoint! The execution, presentation and cornucopia of rich flavours was top notch!Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!
The Caprese was good, but I found myself wishing for just a little more balsamic to give it some extra kick. Same with the risotto—it needed a touch more depth. The gigli, on the other hand, was perfectly cooked and seasoned really well!
I’ve been to this restaurant twice, once for lunch 6 months ago, and second time last night for dinner. For lunch, we had the pasta of the day, the tuna, salad and one other entree which I can’t remember. Last night for dinner we had the beef, pasta of the day, another tomato based pasta and a tomato cheese salad. All food items were absolutely fantastic. The pasta of the day is an absolute must-have.
