We were a group of 8 which was perfect to try many things. We started with 2 types of red wine, a couple delicious old fashioneds and the caprese, bruschetta, shrimp and arancini. All were absolutely delicious. Then the gnocchi and the risotto and our celiac of the group was so impressed with the risotto option. Our overall experience was fine. The one issue we had was we had requested a high chair in our reservation but when we arrived we were informed that patrons are expected to bring their own high chair (not sure how we are supposed to lug our big high chair there). I was just surprised no one called to inform us of this as we put it in the notes and we would have cancelled our reservation had we known. Mercato's is a fine dinning experience, which is unashamedly priced accordingly. The food and service are excellent! Each time we have dinner at this restaurant it is memorable and delightful. Be sure to make any reservations early, as many times in the past, we could not get a table unless it was a few weeks out. Enjoy!
