Tacos were good. My fav was beef, then mushroom (unique), then chicken and pork. Cannot comment on fish. Cactus was a little spicy. Aqua del sol was tasty. We each ate 5-10 tacos each. They have a great happy hour for deals. I wouldn’t come hungry at regular meal time and eat a lot at $7 per small taco, there’s better food at that range.

I spend a lot of time in Mexico, so I have a deep appreciation for the culture and the food. Unfortunately, this meal was an embarrassment to that. The staff was truly wonderful—so upbeat and positive—but the food was a total letdown. For the price, I was shocked to leave a Mexican restaurant still hungry and completely disappointed.

I don't remember the last time I had Mexican food and I didn't like it, but now I do.

We tried Milpa for the first time with Taste the City. The service and atmosphere were great. A fire alarm did go off after we had eaten, but we don’t know from which part of the building complex set it off. The majority of the people at our table enjoyed the rice pudding we had for dessert.

The room is beautiful. We were surprised we got in at happy hour time. The individual tacos we're meaty. We tried the pork the mushroom which was very mushroomy and my dining partner had the battered fish cod. We also have the Berea Taco which was featured under specialty taco there were two large tacos and I can't believe I'm saying this but there was just too much queso for me. We tried the appetizer salmon and tostada I would definitely pass on this. I felt it could have been presented much more elegantly with diced salmon rather than big chunks of salmon you would expect in a poke bowl. There was definitely no rush to leave however there was also seeming absence of awareness in the staff after we completed and were waiting to finalize our bill. I would go back another time to see if this type of service was typical. They do have a patio we chose to sit inside the ambiance was fantastic.

I was at a friend’s birthday last night, and everything was amazing! They kept it so authentic, but the place still felt really classy. I loved it. We’re definitely going back. Oh—and the margaritas were incredible!

All in all, a solid fancier Mexican restaurant, especially during happy hour.

I came here with my friends on an unassuming weekday for happy hour.

We ordered loads of tacos ($5 each), margaritas ($5!), and the quesabirria ($7).

Overall, the tacos were decent. They definitely aren't as large or as good as the taco trucks you'd randomly find, but they were alright for a restaurant in the city.

The quesabirria was a big winner with its immaculate crust, the fish, pastor and carnitas tacos were great, and the drinks were good too.

The pollo was definitely the worst with very little taste, and it's a bit lame how sauces costed extra.

This is levels far from a classic taqueria joint, but I'd recommend coming here for happy hour if you're ever in the city!

I was there in March and celebrated my roommates birthday. Everybody in our group was very impressed with Pablo’s service, he was very attentive and helpful with our questions on the menu. He also provided options and suggestions about the menu.

The food overall was muy bien, delicioso! My favourites are the Papas Bravas, Ceviche, Baja Fish Taco and El Pastor. This place is vibing with great energy (music, laughter, chit chats) and vibrant colours.
