Ordered sate beef rice vermicelli and a wonton soup taste of the food is 6/10. its not terrible, but it's not good enough to get me to want to go back the soup was nice, not too fishy, and not spicy at all. again 6/10, good but not great. the rice noodles were cut into small pieces for some reason which made them difficult to eat with chop sticks. why they cut them makes no sense, and in fact, is enough of a reason for me to not want to go back. i expected because it was sate that it'd be spicy. i love spicy food. this had absolutely no spice to it. barely perceptible peanut flavor. the fish sauce was given to us loose in the bag and spilled everywhere. the rice verm container was smaller than other places ive gone to, and the portion size was below average compared to other places, but the soup container was huge and the two of us werent able to eat all of it. again, it was alright but nothing to rave about. 6/10. C+. the thing that really makes me never want to go back is the entry way was full of insects. beetles or flys or something. black bugs with red stripes a little smaller than a dime. they were everywhere. when i got back to my car, they were in my car, which means they were on me, which means there's a good chance they are elsewhere in the restaurant or even the kitchen. that alone disqualifies them from being somewhere i ever revisit.

The food is amazing!! I had the number 29 (satay beef noodle soup) and my husband had the Pad Thai. It was so delicious, best place for Vietnamese, and the service is just wonderful. Overall Amazing, we eat here lots and they have never disappointed ?

I recently dined at this pho restaurant with a group of five. While it did take a bit longer than expected to get our order, it was worth the wait. My pho was delicious—the broth was flavorful and the portions were generous. The fresh ingredients and tender meat made it a satisfying meal. Despite the slower service, the quality of the food definitely makes this place worth a visit. I'll be back!

Cannot recommend this restaurant. Food was tasteless, cooked with frozen vegetables and cardboard tasting meat. A brief apology was given when a salad roll was served & returned with black hair intertwined.

I recently had the pleasure of getting some takeout at Minh Chau Restaurant, and I must say, their Pad Thai is nothing short of extraordinary. From the first bite, it was clear that this dish was crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of what makes Pad Thai truly exceptional. A reliable choice, that has quickly become my most favourite choices of takeout dish in Calgary! :)
Also, I have always been asked before confirming my order if I had any dietary or allergic restrictions, something that is not an issue but, very nice to be asked.

Not stingy! Lots of pork in the grilled pork and spring roll vermicelli bowl! Vietnamese iced coffee was a hit too!

Good pho place! Rich broth super clear broth. Lots of flavour. Portions on point and for the price point was worth.
Been here a few times before, way better when I had it at night. Much richer broth. Fresh bean sprouts, mint. Love how all the condiments were on the table and more (typical hot sauce etc). The meat on the other hand wasn’t the best, not the greatest quality but still ate it all nonetheless.
The customer service was okay. She was the only one at the front handling all orders and customers and serving. Had better customer service before.
Overall solid pho place, would go again if hungry and nearby.
