Was visiting from Toronto and was in a search for authentic Chicken Biryani and this place didn’t disappoint! It was very delicious and tasted like home cooked biryani. Will definitely visit this place in my next trip. Also, Sonia and Shahid entertained us throughout and their service was outstanding. :)

This is my second time at Mirchi downtown. The food is amazing. One of the best dinner experiences. The food is undoubtedly delicious and authentic and so is their hospitality. Huge shoutout to Sonia baji and Shahid bhai for making the experience incredibly worthwhile. Already scheduled my next visit.

I’m from Edmonton and I was AMAZED at the quality of the food and customer service here. The butter chicken is by far the best i’ve ever had (Even topped my home country!!) The naan and haleem were also delicious and the kebabs were phenomenal. I will definitely be telling all my friends in Edmonton to run to this restaurant when they visit Calgary!

This used to be my go to place. But recently every order has been atrocious. The naan is heated up pita bread from Superstore, the curry is lukewarm and there is more oil than sauce in their food.

Such great authentic tasting food!! Had a wonderful and cozy ambiance with the most lovely tasting food. Not to mention, the service was impeccably hospitable, the workers were so nice!!!

This is a really cozy and comfy place to have a nice meal. The ambience has become much nicer with their recent renovations. Food has always been amazing. My absolute favourite is their Reshmi kabob.Highly recommend this place!!

I tried the Veg Biryani made by Sahid and it was absolutely delightful. The rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and infused with aromatic spices that gave every bite a burst of flavour. The vegetables were fresh, well-cooked.

I travel a lot and eat at restaurants. Biryani I ate today at Mirchi restaurant Southwest branch was the best and authentic. Coriander chatni (souse), fish pakora and tea was the best. Above all, chef Shahid’s service and attitude was exemplary for others. I will definitely come here again.
