Very good quality sushi
The best food court/ grab-and-go sushi place in Calgary! I tried their omakase set today and was blown away by the freshness of the nigiri pieces, especially the hotate and sweet shrimp. The quality of their sushi even exceeds most Japanese restaurants in town and prices were very reasonable. I can’t wait to go back to try their poke bowl next time!
Grabbed sushi here on a lunch break recently. It was stunningly good and very fresh. Will definitely be coming here more often.

I'm not sure when this place changed hands or how long ago that was, but Ifor 10+ years I've enjoyed the sushi place here in the past (with the same name the entire time I believe); it was always a good option when I didn't know what I wanted. I didn't eat here for a few years (due to recent events and how that impacted office work), and recently started visiting again. The menu's changed a bit and the staff seem to be different people which is why I suspect it may have changed owners in recent years?I've only had the Omakase since I noticed the possible ownership change and it is seriously tasty - I try to pick a container with sweet shrimp nigiri and aburi salmon. The food here is excellent quality, especially for a grab and go sushi place! Highly recommended, and the service is always friendly. Hands down the best express sushi place I've tried downtown, and rivals some of the order in places (and I've been to many of them in Calgary).

The chicken curry was perfect after skipping breakfast and on a cold day.

Seriously one of the best express sushi places I've ever been to. The chef puts a lot of care and creativity into the different rolls and my absolute fav is the chef's selection omakase lunch set that has 4 pieces of nigiri (the omakase part of it) and 8 pieces of sushi.

The staff is always accomodating, with the friendliest smile! This store is underrated. People should give them a try, their sushi will not disappoint! Poke bowl is better than Hula, for sure!

Incredibly good sushi, especially for food court. The old reviews are not accurate.

This is a great little hole in the wall on the second floor of the busy Suncor building! The lovely gal that works there everyday is very friendly and works hard. The sushi is absolutely GREAT!! It tastes so fresh for being grab and go sushi and they have a great variety.

Miyako Sushi always delivers quality. The sushi is made by true Japanese owners and the quality is always good. Their poke bowl beats Earls poke bowl by price and quality.
I’m surprised at the low rating of this place!Miyako is an absolute gem, esp given the lack of sushi choices in the downtown core. Although their menu choices are limited, the fish is always fresh and flavors are good. My only complaint is that they’re far too generous with their sauces (curry, mayo, sweet sauces) so I always ask them to go easy. One time they even called asking me to verify as they thought I may have an allergy due to my request ? but they’re efficient and friendly.
