The best food court/ grab-and-go sushi place in Calgary! I tried their omakase set today and was blown away by the freshness of the nigiri pieces, especially the hotate and sweet shrimp. The quality of their sushi even exceeds most Japanese restaurants in town and prices were very reasonable. I can’t wait to go back to try their poke bowl next time!
I'm not sure when this place changed hands or how long ago that was, but Ifor 10+ years I've enjoyed the sushi place here in the past (with the same name the entire time I believe); it was always a good option when I didn't know what I wanted. I didn't eat here for a few years (due to recent events and how that impacted office work), and recently started visiting again. The menu's changed a bit and the staff seem to be different people which is why I suspect...
Seriously one of the best express sushi places I've ever been to. The chef puts a lot of care and creativity into the different rolls and my absolute fav is the chef's selection omakase lunch set that has 4 pieces of nigiri (the omakase part of it) and 8 pieces of sushi.
