Our visit was amazing, the food is great and the service is fantastic. Andrew was very attentive, polite and professional. He was right on time when we needed him and we did not wait for long.

located a few mins walk away from the calgary tower this establishment serves halal steak. i wanted the wagyu burger but that unfortunately wasn’t halal. the filet mignon steak was very tender and amazing. it was halal so it tasted better. the server was amazing. we didn’t like a drink and he got us a new one that we loved. the salts we used for the steak made it better. the fries were amazing as well. i would definitely come back next time im in this city. any muslims looking for amazing halal steaks with amazing service i highly recommend coming here.

We came to celebrate a Graduation and originally arrived as a group of 10, but we ended up being 12 people. Andrew handled the situation flawlessly—he quickly arranged a larger setup for us in the bar lounge area, and made the whole adjustment feel smooth and effortless. Throughout the evening, everything was perfectly timed. Our drinks, appetizers, and mains all arrived right when they should, and we never had to wait or follow up on anything. Andrew was incredibly attentive, checked on us at just the right moments, and made sure every single person at our table felt comfortable and well taken care of. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Addicted to the tartar. Great food, amazing drinks, better staff!

We went for the date night special for our anniversary this past summer. We were so impressed, we returned for my birthday dinner. That staff were extremely friendly with a number of them stopping by to wish me a happy birthday. I can't say a bad thing about the place. Its not possible. My only complaint was I over ate. My own doing but couldn't resist. We will be back. So many incredible choices. Michilen star restaurant.

Overpriced, service was okay, music was loud and cheezy dance music; better off going to Vintage, Caesars, Hy's, etc.

This place was alright. They have Halal / Kosher options for steak and some of their sides which was great. The wait time to get our food was LONG. And they didn’t prepare 2 of our 4 steaks properly so we got a replacement steak and a free dessert which was nice. Priced high so be prepared to pay up. Not enough food per serving in my opinion but that’s what fancy places are all about. The views are cool from the roof top.

It was my birthday and I went in for dinner , at arrival to my seat there was a card on the table wishing me happy birthday thank you so much !! food was amazing, waiters nice , decor was beautiful . My friends in Calgary been to this restaurant more than 20 times and they brought me over there and overall 10/10 experience !! I will be coming back again FOR SURE ! Thank you for making it so memorable for me !

Most exceptional service we’ve had in a long time. I can be hard to please but wow. Absolutely outstanding! From hostess staff, to our incredible and very attentive server, to the management. Food was delicious (we had the risotto, rib steak, prawns, and the onion soup), drinks were great and tons of wine + cocktail options. Will be back soon to try more menu items. YUM!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s birthday at Modern Steak. The staff went above and beyond to make it special, they had a personalized card waiting for him, gave us the chance to sing happy birthday, and made the whole evening feel truly memorable. The food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. From start to finish, the service, atmosphere, and attention to detail made it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for any special occasion or simply a great night out!

came here a year ago and the service by this guy named mark was horrible, a year later i decided to give it another shot and i have to say the server Dan was absolutely amazing. He was extremely attentive, nice and explained all the wines with extreme detail. If you are a wine lover i say 110% you should request Dan the server as he is very knowledgeable and awesome ! The service was very quick and the food was amazing. Definitely coming back, Dan recommended the Massolino wine since i have a crazy sweet tooth and it’s genuinely the best wine i’ve ever had (extremely sweet)

I genuinely think this is the best service i have ever received. We were greeted with an anniversary card as that what we were celebrating. As soon as our server (Dan) had started the dinner service it was just straight up phenomenal. He not only gave us great service but also was extremely attentive. He gave us a taste test of wine at the end of our dinner just to show us what type of wine we would like next time as my boyfriend is into sweet tasting wines. I genuinely give this 10/10 because we had an amazing time.
