recently tried Monga, hoping for an authentic Taiwanese chicken experience, but I have to say, it was disappointing. The coating was overly thick, and while it was heavily seasoned on the outside, the chicken inside was dry and completely lacking in flavor. All the taste seemed to be in that outer layer, which made it far too salty, and the meat itself had no juiciness or seasoning at all.
Honestly, it doesn’t even come close to the quality of Korean fried chicken in town, Even KFC. If this is supposed to represent Taiwanese fried chicken, then it’s honestly quite overrated. I expected much more, and I left feeling let down. This chicken really needs improvement in both technique and flavor.

4.5 for the deep fried chicken. 2.8-3 for the rice bowl. Don’t order them. Not worth it. Doesn’t worth $14.99. However deep fried items were great. The chicken wasn’t exactly Taiwaness flavor. However it was juicy and not oily.
