Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!

Highly recommended for quality sushi.
It was our son’s birthday and he wanted to try a sushi restaurant that we haven’t tried and this was a top pick by the birthday boy, and let me tell you it did not disappoint.

We ordered 3x the soup dumplings 8x special rolls, 4x sohi rolls, 3x sashimi and 2x beef tataki and all were delicious and amazing!
We didn’t use the soy sauce at all as we really like the taste of the sushi.
It was quality for sure as we been to several locations and this by far was number 1 on the list.

We highly recommend this restaurant for sushi make sure to come here with an empty stomach, you won’t be disappointed! Come here for a birthday you’ll definitely love the atmosphere they provide for the celebrant.

Found the place to be extremely disappointing. The sushi was not fresh at all, and the quality of the ingredients was poor to say the least. For example the crispy onion on one of our rolls was very chewy. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Immediately greeted with such a warm welcome! The service and ambience was amazing, I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Calgary. The appetizers came fast and the main meal followed at a good pace. We got special rolls and they were all delicious, high quality, and had good presentation. The prices were extremely reasonable, not to mention the daily specials. Would will coming back!

We visited Monsoon Izakaya and were greeted right away with a warm welcome. The staff seated us quickly and explained the ordering process, which involves filling out a sheet—at first a little overwhelming, but easy to get used to. The menu is extensive with daily promos, and we tried the ramen special for just over $10, which was a great deal. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, truly one of the highlights. The servers were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere had a very authentic Japanese vibe. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
We got free treat at the end!

We had dinner here as a group of six (with kids 😊). The food and drinks took a little longer than expected, but honestly the overall experience was really great. The manager was super friendly and professional when we had a small issue with the bill — I wish I remembered his name because he truly deserves a raise 🙌. Thanks for making our evening enjoyable — we’ll definitely be back! 🍣🍶✨

Great Japanese restaurant. Service was great when we arrived. But later when it got busy it took awhile to get the attention of the waiter. Sushi and food was good, close but no match to the higher end sushi places in Calgary.

Excellent and attentive staff. The black ramen needed more umami flavor. It tasted too much fat from the pork. Noodles were good. Also, the sushi rice was falling apart but fish was fresh. We also had the tempura shrimps were really crunchy and really tasty.
