I could not be more pleased discovering this place. I’m from Vancouver and fresh decent sushi has been so hard to find in Calgary being so far from the ocean. This place never disappoints and lately they have gotten even better! I might have a problem as I order almost twice a week! lol. Favourites are the mango roll, rice paper salmon cream cheese roll and prawn tempura. Anything else I’ve had is also fantastic! TU I’ll keep coming back. You guys are awesome ?Adding a second review as this place is just the best for sushi! You must try. Service is impeccable too!Tonight I ordered the salmon rice paper rolls, pork soup dumplings, salmon avocado cream cheese rolls, prawn tempura. Yumm! Thank you for all your hard work!!

Didn’t get a whole lot of photos because once I started eating I couldn’t stop. Honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had.The sushi is finely crafted with a variety of textures and flavours that compliment each other perfectly. Interesting sushi shapes, which makes it unique. Hospitality is top notch, the atmosphere is very very pretty and dimly lit. 10/10 recommend!

Monsoon Izakaya is one of our go-to place for Sushi and Ramen. They serve ramen daily from 11am to 4pm and we will pop in wherever we feel like having some delicious Tonkotsu Black Ramen, Spicy Red Ramen or Miso Shiro Ramen. Our other favourite dishes for dinner time are Lobster Roll, Creamy Scallop Roll, Monsoon Special Roll, Beef Short Ribs, Karaage Chicken and assorted mixed Sushi. We enjoyed the special rolls like Aburi Wagyu Roll and Monsoon Trinity Roll that they have on a limited time offer (hopefully they will continue to have this offer for the coming months). Everything tasted delicious and appetizing. Overall it’s a nice, clean and quiet place to enjoy a meal!*Stopped by for lunch and had Tonkotsu Ramen and Sushi. Delicious!!
