We went here for Christmas dinner (doesn't always have to be turkey-steak is a great 2nd choice)! It wasn't very busy fortunately and our meals came to us in a timely fashion. It was hands down the best meal both of us had all year! The steaks were very juicy and tender, the potatoes baked perfectly and my onion rings were crispy delicious. The server was pleasant, the cook done well and the atmosphere family friendly and comfortable. Overall wonderful experience.

The Manager and employee were very friendly and accommodating; however after taking a few bites of my pulled pork sandwich served with sweet potato french fries. I found a large hair embedded in my pulled pork. I was thoroughly.disgusted. The Manager fully reimbursed me for the meal. They were very accommodating. After I found the hair in my sandwich, I approached the subject rudely to the Manager. I should have been more polite, but I had a hair in my sandwich! Nevertheless, I could have been more friendly and not so angry over a hair in my food. Thanks Montanas for putting up with my bad attitude! Angry Customer.

Our server Meghan was fantastic! Meghan gave the kids some crayons to keep them entrained before dinner. We were really impressed when Meghan asked us if we wanted the kids dinner to come out sooner than ours (essentially putting a rush to their order) so they could really enjoy their time. We really appreciated her genuine carrying. My wife, kids and I loved the great dinner! We will be back soon!

Nice place to goto, the lounge area was quiet as compared to any other place, where half drunk people always want to speak at the top of their voices with no concern for others around. Food quality and service is good too.

I was in town for a business trip with my colleagues, and we decided to try Montanas. We were in-between meetings and needed to eat quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by the seamless and wonderful experience. The moment we entered, we were greeted by a friendly staff member. Our server Meghan was outstanding. Her understanding of the menu, suggestions and exceptional speedy customer service gave us a very enjoyable experience.

We came in for a nice family meal and were seated by the door, which was freezing cold. But the staff were super accommodating and let us move to a new table right away. Nikki was our server and got our order in quickly.

Stopped in for dinner on a road trip through Calgary. This place is clearly very understaffed. We waited and waited for service and were ignored by the few staff on duty. Finally got a drink and food order in. Waited forever for the soup ($6.99). It was cold and came with a teaspoon rather than a soup spoon. The main course finally arrived. The chicken and green beans were hot, but the mashed potatoes were cold. Nobody came by to check, so we couldn't send them back. Couldn't order another drink either. Waited and waited to pay and get out of there. Never again. Yes there are staffing problems, but if they can't serve people they shouldn't be seating them. Don't charge full price for half assed food and lack of service.

Staff greeted myself as we came in the door. Was a seat available so wait time was good. Staff were attentive, friendly, knew the menu and offered suggestions.Food was hot, freshly prepared and delicious. Had the rib/wing combo. Cookie skillet for dessert, heavenly ?

-The cheese pull apart Bread was just barely warm. Almost cold in the inside. -kids burger was dry and terrible (according to my 10 year old, and it looked dry and terrible although I never tasted it) -my Ribs we're tough -my husbands steak was pretty decent cooked to liking ? -service was very good and they came to sing happy bday to my son.

Without a doubt, this was the absolutely worst service I've ever encountered at a restaurant. I came in at 5 pm with 2 other people. The workers were pleasant, nothing wrong with their demeanor. However,after having our orders taken and food brought out, we did not once see our waitress again. No one came to ask if we were enjoying our food, if we wanted a refill or how anything was period. It wasn't busy, so I am not sure why our waitress seemingly disappeared for our meal. I ordered the all you can eat ribs and by the time I had cleared my plate, I hadn't spoken to anyone. I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone else.

I went in for a steak dinner at Montanas to celebrate heritage day..... wait for it.. pause. AMAZING! Not only did the food look good but it tasted better too. The sauce came with 32 beans and the loaded baked potato was very soft! and had enough topping. The server Hannah asked if we wanted desert and was even sweeter... I will not.... NOT be returning again

We walked in waited upfront why the host was looking on his phone almost did not know we were at there waiting to get seated He finally places to a table we waited for 15 minutes why nobody else in the restaurant wonder why? I said the 15 minute mark we will walk out and we did and the staff never said nothing didn’t really care Did we try the food no as we walked out if the staff doesn’t care about attending to us how do you think the food will be poor management If the manager cannot see he has stuff like this he needs to be replaced

Everything seemed to be in slow motion. Waiter was slow to take our order and the food was even slower coming out. The ribs were dry and I never got my water refilled and never had the chance to ask for condiments from our elusive server. After getting our bill I went to pay at the front and was told I had to wait for the server to come to my table to pay. I've been here before and had an enjoyable meal but this was the worse visit to date.

We went in for a celebration dinner, 2 adults and one toddler. We were the only table there. No one came up to serve us. The hostess was chatting to a server. My husband set his timer, and 18 minutes and 53 seconds went by without anyone coming to take our drink order. Toddler was very hungry so I stood up to go find someone polishing cutlery to ask if we could please get water. He asked if anyone had been to our table yet. Server was still chatting with the hostess in the back of the room. I was standing next to the booth waiting to ask anyone for an order. Toddler was getting really upset. After finally getting waters, a second table arrived and was sat near by. We timed their service at 2 mins and 15 seconds the moment they were seated. Once our order was finally taken, an item was forgotten. We reminded the server every time she passed by our the table. We never got the item, and asked for it to be taken off the bill. We were frustrated as it took so much time for anyone to notice we were there, and we were the only table when we arrived. We are upset at the lack of service towards us, and didn't understand why we were treated that way when the hostess and server knew we were waiting. Survey has been taken.
